The Mumbles Carlton Hotel overlooks Swansea Bay in the centre of Mumbles Village. Many rooms have sea views. The hotel has been recently been refurbished, and all rooms have an en suite bathroom.

Liked everything. Breakfast is great. Location is great. Beach is nearby. A good place to go for evening run.
I could hear people walking in upstair rooms and using washrooms late in the night.
personal service, friendliness, small ness, non-corporate
pillows should be feathers
The location was great-just a few minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Newton road, which is a lovely road of gift shops, 2 wine bars and lovely cafés. Cooked breakfasts were lovely and always nice and hot. The owner Chris was very friendly and helpful
Can't think of anything.
I stayed there 18-07-2014 for one night.very friendly owners clean room stunning place breakfast was amazing I've stayed in lots of hotels and by far this is one of the best thanks for an amazing time at your hotel see you soon . Steven Williams
Lovely room, welcoming and friendly owners, the yummiest scrambled egg and bacon I have ever had .
There was nothing that I didn't like.
This was our second visit to the hotel in a year and, as before, everything was perfect. Lovely room, excellent breakfast and we booked a meal in the restaurant at night which was top class. Would definitely recommend Little Langland.
The owner was really helpful The hotel was immaculate
Fan food fab staff my host felt like my best frinds
Quiet location just up the street from the shore, clean, pleasant facility and friendly, helpful owners.
Very friendly helpful staff
This was a lovely B&B; perfect location, just a quick walk to the cove and walking trails, and a fairly short walk down the hill into town.. Chris was very friendly; great little dining area/bar; lovely room; wonderful breakfast!
The attention to detail and personal service. Breakfasts were a particular highlight. Mumbles seafront was within walking distance.
Location - 5 mins from coastal path. Friendly staff. Clean and well appointed. Very good breakfast.
Nothing not to like. Would have liked a box of tissues (hay fever).
A lovely boutique hotel with quality decor beautifully presented. The Johnsons were a friendly helpful couple who look after their guests with great consideration. The quality of furnishings, fixtures and fittings make this an extremely pleasant environment to be in. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious, a great start to the day.
The fact that the only room left was on the third floor, up two flights of stairs. Having some mobility issues made it a little difficult however this was mitigated by the comfortable room. Just a tad disappointed with the comfort of the bed(mattress), not quite as luxuriously comfortable as I had hoped for a 5* hotel. Having said that, I have real sleep issues if my mattress is not as well padded as in my own bed at home.
Real personal service. We were attending a cycling event, and my husband was given breakfast on a tray to have at dawn and the dining room was opened early for me. Restaurant good too!
Very clean and comfortable. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast.
The owners are a lovely and accommodating couple. The food was excellent, very nice restaurant and bar. Great value for money.
The bed was on the hard side!
Restaurant area was cozy and intimate. Staff welcoming. Breakfast great
Little out of the way. Access little tight on the stairs and entering to room.
Good location two minutes from coffee shop above relatively quiet Rotherslade Bay. For a small hotel really comfortable, helpful owners and the bonus of a good evening restaurant. A very good base for exploring the Mumbles, Swansea Bay and the Gower peninsula. Good value for money
Excellent small well run hotel. The cuisine was excellent
The owner was very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The breakfasts were good. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Limited eating places within easy walking distance.
Lovely bedroom with everything we needed. Breakfast was cooked just as we requested it so we could order just what we liked from the fry selection. We walked down to the town and back a number of times during our stay and it was close enough that we didnt need to drive. The landlady was kind enough to offer us some brilliant restaurant suggestions so we enjoyed lovely meal at Patricks.
Few chips on the toilet seat which made it look dirty when it wasn't. Wouldn't be expensive to replace and would make a real difference to the look of the bathroom.
The owners of the hotel were very obliging and friendly. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and at night it was very quiet, so a good night's sleep was guaranteed. Just down the road was Langland Bay and from there a lovely walk along along the cliff top on a tarmaced path. Parking was easy. We had a lovely meal one evening. Chef excellent.
Nothing negative I could think of.
Loved it all
