Excellent food both at breakfast and evening meal Really friendly and helpful staff Attention to detail
Sue was lovely
Shower broken, hairs found in the bathroom, lack of storage, photos on Web site taken with a wide view lens so in short your being lied to,cost I've had far better weekends away costing between £180 and £320 I spent over £500 in house and to be honest felt I had been ripped off.
We turned up a bit early and the staff were very accommodating. Our stays here are always great. Would highly recommend staying here, but you probably need to book quite early!
the place was lovely - we stayed in the Wooden Room oh what a bath fantastic. Everything is done to the highest standard - loved it - just about to book again
an excess of scatter cushions, wifi variable
Quality, Comfort & Style!
faultless in every way
I liked everything about our few days stay. It was just the small touches that made the stay much more enjoyable.
As we arrived at Littlebeck we was greeted by Simone, she was fantastic, very well mannered and could not do enough for us. The place was immaculate, we had a drink at the bar then was shown to our room. It was absolutely stunning, the bed was huge, we stayed in the copper room and it was pure luxury. The bath was amazing, so relaxing. Slept great, breakfast was really nice, fresh juice, tea and coffee. Lots of different options to choose from. The dining area is a really nice space to enjoy your meal. The chef Christian was great, very easy to get along with. Fantastic night away with my fiancé. Highly recommended
Breakfast staff very miserable.
HUGE comfy bed with beautiful bed linen HUGE bathtub Amazing breakfast in terms of choice and quality of food Really friendly and helpful staff No phone reception so peace and quite
Can't think of anything!
Should you be looking for a slice of luxury a few miles from Whitehaven, then look no further! Excellent room. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast. And regular buses into Whitehaven!
A bottle of water in the room would have been nice. Ironically, I got one in a "goody bag" at the end of my stay!
We booked the copper room, which was lovely Great big bed which was very comfortable Great food, great staff Biker friendly 10/10
Bathroom and the food
The room was fantastic as was the breakfast
This was a strange combination of B&B and Small Hotel which we'd never encountered before. It worked well. The whole business seemed to revolve around a young(ish) man who serves as Receptionist, Public Relations Executive, Chef and part-time Waiter. He was exceptional, and made us feel very much at home. Dinner was as good as we'd come across on our travels, and the actual eating areas were first-class. Breakfast was also a delight. Our room looked as if it had been recently renovated, and the bathroom in particular was exceptionally modern.
The actual area itself wasn't overly pretty (though the house itself was impressive). Parking was a little on the tight side, though it worked better than I'd thought.
Our stay was very enjoyable, we felt at home, the staff are great, also food, a lot of nice little touches, ie drinks on arrival & a bag of goodies for our journey home, but most of all the room was so comfy, & our bed was huge & we had the best sleep ever. We were in the wooden room. Congrats to Sue & her great staff for an very enjoyable stay.
Bathroom - a triumph of fashion over function, with dangerous hard corners and a malfunctioning shower
the kindness of the staff the very good breakfast the very good dinner the pleasure of a very nice house the decoration of the room and bathroom the "no noise" !
The cows mooing all night long
Very comfortable and modern. Small and friendly B+B Food is great taste and presentation (quality over quantity - £25 3 course) Selection of bottled beers and wines available. Good size room and bathroom with both shower and bath. Relaxed atmosphere. Parking no problem. Internet signal strong. Quiet and easy to get a good night's sleep.
This was just what the doctor ordered, peaceful and relaxing, a great place to unwind and to visit parts of Cumbria that we had never visited before. More importantly it had a hidden extra, a fine dining chef who prepared fantastic evening meals. Brilliant
NOT A THING
The honesty bar was well stocked with a relaxed atmosphere/surroundings. Excellent disabled access with ground floor room. The little details made all the difference. staff were welcoming and friendly and personal requests were accomodated.Breakfast was excellent.
The service was A*, the accommodation is A*. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome and to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. I hope my work takes me back to this part of the country again soon as I'll be staying no-where other than Littlebeck Warren and if they're fully booked, I will have to re-arrange the business trip to another date such that I don't have to stay elsewhere!
The music in the dining room was on auto select with a Christmas album occasionally being chosen which meant a few Xmas numbers were played at dinner which I'd rather have not listen to in August but apart from that, I really can't fault Littlebeck Warren - don't hesitate re. your options, if there's a room available - get it booked before someone else does!
