This was a strange combination of B&B and Small Hotel which we'd never encountered before. It worked well. The whole business seemed to revolve around a young(ish) man who serves as Receptionist, Public Relations Executive, Chef and part-time Waiter. He was exceptional, and made us feel very much at home. Dinner was as good as we'd come across on our travels, and the actual eating areas were first-class. Breakfast was also a delight. Our room looked as if it had been recently renovated, and the bathroom in particular was exceptionally modern.
The actual area itself wasn't overly pretty (though the house itself was impressive). Parking was a little on the tight side, though it worked better than I'd thought.
Bathroom - a triumph of fashion over function, with dangerous hard corners and a malfunctioning shower
the kindness of the staff the very good breakfast the very good dinner the pleasure of a very nice house the decoration of the room and bathroom the "no noise" !
The cows mooing all night long
Very comfortable and modern. Small and friendly B+B Food is great taste and presentation (quality over quantity - £25 3 course) Selection of bottled beers and wines available. Good size room and bathroom with both shower and bath. Relaxed atmosphere. Parking no problem. Internet signal strong. Quiet and easy to get a good night's sleep.
This was just what the doctor ordered, peaceful and relaxing, a great place to unwind and to visit parts of Cumbria that we had never visited before. More importantly it had a hidden extra, a fine dining chef who prepared fantastic evening meals. Brilliant
NOT A THING
The honesty bar was well stocked with a relaxed atmosphere/surroundings. Excellent disabled access with ground floor room. The little details made all the difference. staff were welcoming and friendly and personal requests were accomodated.Breakfast was excellent.
The service was A*, the accommodation is A*. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome and to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. I hope my work takes me back to this part of the country again soon as I'll be staying no-where other than Littlebeck Warren and if they're fully booked, I will have to re-arrange the business trip to another date such that I don't have to stay elsewhere!
The music in the dining room was on auto select with a Christmas album occasionally being chosen which meant a few Xmas numbers were played at dinner which I'd rather have not listen to in August but apart from that, I really can't fault Littlebeck Warren - don't hesitate re. your options, if there's a room available - get it booked before someone else does!
Contemporary yet comfortable styling; the warm welcome and superb food. I like the fact that each room has its own parking bay that is designed to avoid others opening their car doors onto yours!
Nothing bad to report.
Excellent throughout- from the welcome we received and the attentiveness of the staff to the beautifully presented rooms and outstanding food. We could not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it.
The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Great attention to detail everywhere and nothing is too much trouble.
Wooden Room - Great facilities, stylish and comfortable. Excellent food - evening meal and breakfast. Sue was a brilliant hostess, very attentive - could not have asked for any more from the staff.

Hospitality & luxury of the rooms
Location useful for multiple reasons. Staff genuinely interested in our welfare.
Room was a bit squeezy, especially the bathroom.
This is a lovely hotel - quiet and comfortable with very helpful and attentive staff. Excellent food and wine. Definite 5 out of 5.
Lack of toilet brush in the bathroom.
Location. Food. Little details.
Occasional Christmas music in summer. Over zealous staff
The rooms were fantastic and very clean. the restaurant and bar were nice little luxuries and Sue and her staff were second to none.
Beautifully appointed and individual rooms, we stayed in the Stone room. The owner Sue showed us two other rooms: marble and wood which were again both lovely. Gorgeous breakfast, lovely quiet location about 20mins from Keswick.
