Lovely and quiet location ideal to unwind. Super breakfast. Lovely old house, lots of character and great gardens. Twin beds a bit hard but they seem to be like that everywhere !.

Lovely location with tranquil surrounding. The place was spotless. The breakfast was well cooked with friendly staff. Amanda the owner could not do enough. Deffinalty would go back to Little Court again. Dorchester is such a beautiful place. My only little moan and I mean little, is the shower wasn't very powerful, had a very poor water flow. X

Beautiful old house in a lovely setting, very comfortable and clean room and the staff are really friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again! Water pressure in shower a bit weak but didn't spoil our stay.

We were welcomed at the front door by our host. Despite arriving later than planned, we were offered fresh coffee in our room (complimentary). The ambience of the reception hall and our room was lovely. The atmosphere was of a beautiful country house in an accessable but very quiet spot, close to Dorchester. The breakfasts were generous and very well cooked, and served in a bright dining room by our attentive host. The gardens surrounding Little Court added to the feeling of being a guest in a country house.

We had a wonderful stay at Little Court - Amanda made us feel very at home and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were brillient with excellent staff. A beautiful old house which has been very tastefully decorated. Our room had a lovely view over the garden and countryside. Beds a little hard but you can't please everyone!!

Spotless, comfortable rooms. Quiet location with easy access into the town with good parking which is quite a problem in Dorchester itself. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Only a minor negative. Unfortunately, I was unable to get breakfast on the first morning due to a very early appointment although alternative arrangements were offered. I also had to leave after the second night, having booked for three nights. I was hoping for a little gesture in the form of a discount as I had saved the hotel two breakfasts and one room clean but no such discount was given even though the hotel was not busy and my booking clearly had not precluded another. A pity because everything else was perfect.

Friendly warm welcome that continued throughout my stay. Relaxed peaceful atmosphere, well appointed rooms and a welcome refuge for business travelers like myself. Excelent choice and quality at the breakfast table. Highly recomended if you are in the area. Minor downside is there are no evening meals though there is a more than adequate public house a 2min drive or 10 min walk away.

Lovely owner/staff and quality of the breakfast Bedroom a little on the cool side and courtyard lights should be switched off or put on a motion sensor at night to aid sleep and save the planet.

Wonderful welcome (including tea/coffee on arrival), great choice at breakfast including fresh strawberries, excellent facilities, very friendly and made us feel very much "at home". A few nice touches such as bottled water provided in our room, newspapers available for guests etc Unfortunately our double bed in room 2 was too soft/bouncy for us (we are used to a firm bed) so we didnt get a perfect nights sleep every night. We will just have to ask for a firmer bed next time we stay there. Lol

The staff were very nice, pot of tea in the lovely gardens when we arrived. Breakfast delicious. Our room was small, as was the bed I am sure they have bigger rooms so perhaps we should have asked when booking.

The people that run the place are fantastic, they are friendly and accommodating. The Hotel was beautiful and very well presented. The breakfasts were some of the best we have ever had. The fact that the Hotel was just outside Dorchester 'proper' was also rather nice from our point of view. We would definitley recommend the place to family and friends. We would also hope to stay at the hotel again in the near future.

Lovely old building with nice little pub nearby. Not far into Dorchester, but there is no pavement. However they do leave out torches for your use, if you want them. Taxis are a lot cheaper in Dorset than they are for us locally, so we just used a taxi. Normally we would walk such a short distance. The local pub (Sun Inn) is within walking distance. We had an amazing meal at the local curry house -best of the holiday. On the corner as you enter Dorchester, on the left hand side.

Small, welcoming staff, nice ambience. Lovely breakfast. Uncomfortable beds and lack of availability of alternative pillows - why do hoteliers assume that everyone is allergic to feather pillows? Surely they could offer an alternative and not simply adopt a blanket policy of only having those awful lumps of polyfiller?
