wifi doesnt operate outside one room downstairs
personal touches, deco and the fact that the hotel couldnt do enough for you
Mostly everything. We stayed in the Paul McCartney room which was very spacious and comfortable.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was noisy and there was no plug for the wash basin. Did not have a dressing table so had nothing to put things on.
Good location for exploring the Beatles locations, close to train station, comfortable sleep, and excellent breakfast
We came up to watch Liverpool v southampton. 4 men ( that proberly drank a tad to much
Owner more than helpful and eager to ensure we enjoyed our stay
Room very cramped and single bed very uncomfortable
Quiet area Breakfast Beatles themed hotel
WIFI didn't work for me. But I had internet on my phone so it didn't matter. Tiny bathroom sink No UHT milk
Bon esmorzar, molta tria.
Very helpful catering for a vegetarian who requested soya milk - it was all there waiting. Great kitchen facilities for everyone to use.
The friendliest welcome you could wish for; nice people who just want you to be comfortable.
The WiFi from my room on the top floor basically didn't work - it kept cutting out. Also the single bed was very small; I'm not tall and it was pushing it.
A great place to stay, run by really friendly people. We were made to feel most welcome. Lovely extra touches like access to tea, coffee and cakes whenever you liked. We also enjoyed a top, top breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.
Staff extremely friendly. Service very good.
Decor and rooms dated
Perfect location for our trip for a wedding in Allerton. Friendly staff, good cereals, yoghurts, fruit and access to make your own food/drinks.
Quite noisy in the morning Shared bathroom not ideal Room quite small
Thought it was perfect for my needs, the room was huge and original. If you want the facilities to be like a travel lodge then you are in the wrong place! This is a lovely charming place, huge rooms, lovely garden, warm welcome and did what it said on the tin!
Location was good for visiting our relatives. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Good breakfast. Good public rooms with large TV.
We were in a converted loft room with a small bathroom with tiny basin. Bed not very comfortable - too soft for us.
The owner and his staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us we were running a half marathon and he even got up at 6 so we could have an early breakfast and let us shower and check out late afterwards .
Excellent welcome from friendly owner. Clean and comfortable room. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Short drive to station to central Liverpool. Would definitely recommend.
It was very personal the staff were so friendly the place is a little gem and will Definatly be going back again :)
We like everything nothing we didn like!
The owner is great very friendly and accommodating greats you with a bottle of wine, cant be bad
The owner was very helpful, couldn't do enough for us.
Staff very accomodating and friendly, clean hotel good breakfast. Catered for Gluten Free diet. Fun garden for kids, plenty to amuse them.
Bed was uncomfortable (advised staff), electrics need to be managed... too many ext cables can be dangerous. Shower poor, fixings coming way fro wall ! Garden needs some refurbishment if it is to be used by guests.
We went down for a girls weekend and were overwhelmed with the place. The host, Paul was amazing, greeting us with a bottle of wine when we arrived. He made us feel so welcome and by the end we would have loved to have stayed longer. Already we have recommended the place to people and will be booking here again.
Our selection of Hotel made our trip so much better. Rooms were very clean and had a nice decor right through. Owner made us feel at home and even had homemade cakes and drinks for the kids.Breakfast selection was immense and he even catered for my local family to join us at breakfast. 100% will stay again. Thanks for everything Paul
friendly staff, excellent food choices (breakfast only) with help yourself policy, located very close to rail link, children's play area, very clean and well maintained accommodation
mid day and evening meals not catered for
Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient to get to, very good local taxi firm which got us to the Albert dock probably cheaper than public transport and much quicker.
Our room (Paul McCartney) required refurbishment as several fixtures and fittings were loose or missing. Breakfast was ordinary. Cost may have been reasonable for a city hotel but we we have paid less for much higher quality.
