The en suite room has a weird design of the layout, the staff isn't very friendly and welcoming. The split of rooms between buildings require us to go outside and walk into the main house for breakfast in a very cold morning.

Good sized room and bathroom. Clean, tidy and generally very nice. Lovely Landlady and good breakfast. A 'Proper' b&B. Slightly dated - but I liked it, it added to the old-fashioned b&b feel.

My goodness this place was clean. Too clean almost, the overpowering smell of polish and cleaning products hit you when the door was opened. The owner was charming, lovely and friendly. The B+B has a real kitschy homely feel to the place; carpets, furniture, wallpaper, stuff that your Grandmother has probably got. Breakfast was OK, but not spectacular. Full welsh = full english in case you're wondering. Mattress on bed was very firm, which was fine for me, but she prefers softer. Noisy road outside, but double glazing silenced that. Garage opposite has delivery about 5.30am. We had room 8. The room wasn't that large originally, but a corner is cut off for the 'en-suite' and there's a four poster bed in there. It's cramped, very cramped. My waist size is 42", I couldn't get around the bed without simultaneously touching bedposts and walls (about 420mm gap), nor could I get to toilet without touching shower cubicle and sink (350mm gap). The design of the shower door made closing difficult, but not impossible.

The rooms were very good. The food was good. We would stay there again. We were located in the "annex" which on arrival was very cold. I suspect no one had been in it for a few days. We had to ask for the heating to be put on. Once it was aired it was fine. The communal lounge in the annex was cold & uninviting & smelt foisty. The one in the main house looked warm & inviting.

Very pleasant stay with an excellent breakfast. Car park is small but plenty of on street parking. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way.
