This is the third time we have stayed at the Grand Hotel and as usual the service we received was faultless, we could have asked for more. The staff always friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. |

No on site parking, only street parking if you could find it. The wind funneled down between the hotel and the adjacent cliff on the otherside of the road which made walking to the hotel entrance difficult. |

It was convenient for beach, shopping etc. The big lounge area was nice and the evening entertainment was good. On my booking and also when I arrived at the hotel I informed people that I had to follow a gluten free diet. At breakfast I was dissapointed that there were no gluten free options provided. I would not mention i if it was only very cheap accomodation but it wasn't. There is also a large asda store very close to the hotel that stock a large range of gluten free products. |

all the staff were very helpful. We liked the views and the food was good for the price. Main lift out of order making it difficult for elderly and disabled to descend to the entertainment floors. . |

The location is excellent and hotel facilities/staff good. I took my elderly mother and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay, the entertainment in the ball room was just pitched right for the audience and we enjoyed the breakfast. The views from the bar balcony were great and fantastic just to sit out in the sun, drinking & eating watching the boats and passers by on the pier Parking the car was a nightmare - but once parked I just left it where it was as the location was close to all the amenities we wanted. We were disappointed the lift to the top floor (our room) was not working at the time of our visit as my Mom has difficulty on the stairs now and I had checked there were lifts to all floors before our stay. |

The hotel was tired looking, not what we expected for such a place with a strong sense of history. The Grand needs to be re-furbished, not modernised to lift it and bring it back to life. The stay should have been an experience to talk about for all the right reasons, not the wrong ones. All rooms should be of a high standard with no exception, ours had dirty windows, burn holes in the chair, cramped toilet, no shower and cheap tired furniture. The main lounge area serves drinks and meals from a serving hatch which we found comparable to the WVS at an old hospital. The coffee served from the hatch was not satisfactory for the modern times, breakfast was very good considering the number of guests being served however there should be no distinction between guests in the public areas of the hotel such as the dining rooms and especially at breakfast, the same experience should apply to all. |

Nothing stood out I'm afraid plenty - the parking facilities, cleanliness, size of the rooms, the terrible smell in the bathrooms and the food |

The staff were very nice and friendly especially in the dining area,I was in the Premier restaurant which was fantastic. I would have liked an up to date tv service.I had an old tv with an ariel on top, poor reception and no Sky news service. |

We did not really enjoy this stay. The Hotel was rather dissappionting in both decor and comfort. It obviously needs an update as the whole place seems very worn. We were dissappionted in our room as it was rather cramped, the funiture was worn and old fashioned. There was no shower in the bathroom, which is unusal in a Hotel these days. |

hotel is located as close to the sea as you could get, food was very good and evening entertainment was also very good . however if you have children there is no entertainment for them but the hotel sits at the foot of llandudno pier where there is plenty for the little ones to do . in the dining room we was seated next to two elderly and charming ladies, who twice asked staff for a glass of water, they was shown where to get the water but being slightly infirm , my wife got up and served them both a glass of freely available water . in my veiw the staff were not to busy and maybe water should be on the tables on arrival . |

Very little, staff were positive despite poor working conditions. Scruffy, badly appointed, old fixtures and fittings, few facilities in the rooms. Room very small, 2 channels on the TV. The sort of thing you would find in a 1970's Blackpool B&B. A great location, fabulous building and a good opportunity to put together a premier hotel to beat the hundreds of B&B's that surround it. An opportunity completely ignored, a really bad experience. |

The Montclare and Cumberland hotels have a great position on the North Shore promenade. The front rooms have spectacular panoramic sea views. |
With en suite bedrooms, this Victorian town house is next to the seafront, with panoramic views of Llandudno. Book 2 nights in December 2009 and get a free bottle of champagne. |
Seafront family owned hotel, with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding bay, only 20 metres from the beach. |
Offering sophistication and style by the sea, St George's is a contemporary and luxurious hotel that is perfect for exploring Llandudno and the North Wales coast. |
