The views from our room were spectacular. The owner was very friendly. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the porch.

The dinner set menu did not cater for diners preferences.

Stunning view, lovely staff. Even though I was the only guest they still layed out full breakfast in the morning, as well as choice of cooked. This place has loads of character and great location for exploring Wales. Also dog friendly

Nothing to complain about. Only tip-Satnav will says you have arrived before you reach the place-keep driving and you will see it - it's well signposted

Beautiful location and a friendly welcome. Very good breakfast. We only had a very brief stay but it looked like a lovely place for a longer stay especially if you like outdoor pursuits! Would definitely stay again.

    Nothing springs to mind!

The setting, staff, atmosphere & food were great. The room was the compact family room which was fine. We only stayed 1 night so didn't get a chance to fully appreciate all that was on offer.

    Nothing.

The staff were friendly and food was excellent

Family room very compact and it had no windows just a skylite and no ladder into bunk beds for children or no safety rails on bunk beds so kids could roll out of them. But when I complained we were changed into a double room where we pushed the 2 bed together and we managed.

Everything was excellent, including the evening meal-HOWEVER the walls to the bedroom made of cardboard so you can hear absolutely everything including the person turning over in the bed next door!!! Shame because everything else perfect

    paper thin walls to bedroom

The location was beautiful if a little difficult of access, reached by a long narrow road through woodland winding upwards. (under a viaduct with a disused chapel underneath). It was well sign posted. Views from the terrace were brilliant and the welcome there was warm and friendly. When I returned late in the evening someone very kindly helped me find a parking space. We felt that we could ask our hosts for anything we wished and approved of the 'honesty' bar although we did not have time to make use of it! Breakfast was generous and delicious.

We had hoped to have a room with a view but the only double room available did not have one. When I mentioned this later the owner said that we could have had a twin room with a view but I did not know this at the time. The room was a bit tightly fitted in and dark. I was sorry we had made other arrangements for our evening meal as I am sure the food at this establishment would have been excellent.

Our stay was wonderful. The food, both breakfasts and dinners were delicious. This guest house is very well run by the family. They were also helpful prviding us with local info to make the most of stay and even our onward journey to the lake district.

    Nothing to mention.

Travelling alone isn't always easy but everyone was very welcoming. There is a friendly and intimate feel here. My room was small but pefectly formed and with a truly stunning view. Single rooms this nice are hard to come by.The food was excellent and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

    Can't think of anything.

The view! Shame it was raining I could only imagine sitting at their large terrace breathing in the air. We did have a good view from our dining table. The dinner (you need to prebook and I do recommend as there is nothing else around there) was excellent. Dessert was buffet style and you could eat all 3 of them (if you can manage after the generous portion of 2 course meal). I enjoyed watching birds coming for the feeder as they gave bread in the morning so many different kind of birds came (and a squirrel). The shower facility was excellent - good water pressure and hot water straight away.

We didn't realise they had a dog and cats until we were about to leave. I would've loved to played with them!!
