This 150 year old manor house stands in 1 acre of gardens, and offers spacious rooms with beautiful mountain views and free Wi-Fi. In the town of Llanwrtyd Wells, rural countryside is on the doorstep. Llanwrtyd Hall Country House has rooms with period décor, with each featuring tea and coffee and views of the garden or nearby mountains. Some rooms have an in-room bathroom, whilst some have an external private bathroom. Home-cooked breakfasts are served in the dining room, which has an open fire place. Guests can also order snacks, cream teas and evening meals from the menu that uses local produce. There is a laundry service, adult dogs are welcome and parking is free. The local area is perfect for walking, and there is horse riding and mountain biking just a few minutes’ walk away. The room could have been shown a duster a little more as cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling and a few dog hairs in the breakfast made it a little awkward as the hotel owner is very friendly and obviously enjoys the company of the guests.

nichts! wir haben das zimmer nicht genommen und sind sofort abgereist. Das WC war am Gang und mußte mit anderen Gästen geteilt werden. Das Bettzeug war zerdrückt und schmuddelig.

Unfortunately this b & b is not up to scratch. Rooms did not have en suite, radio or tv. They were extremely basic. The hostess was unusual and panicked at the drop of a hat. Your question regarding recommendation. Yes I would recommend the place for other travelers to stay should they want a Fawlty Towers! Experience

We had the four poster bed and expected for the price to have an on suite but instead we had to share the toilet with other guests. Also, their was not a varied choice for breakfast.

Situation quiet. Slightly off the beaten track. Room very clean but very basic. No lounge to relax in. No T.V. either in the room or anywhere in the hotel. A sporting weekend was taking place and there was no way to find out results. The proprieter didn't know and wasn't interested. No alarm clock or radio in the bedroom. Multi use of toilet on the landing no privatge facilities except for wash hand basin and shower.

Yvonne and Gareth were lovely and welcoming. Nice views from the windows. Nice breakfast even had Vege sausages for us. Great hot power shower (though a bit fiddley to get working) Was really disappointed with what we got for what we paid. We did not have an en-suite toilet and I admit it said something like an en-suite disclaimer in the description (which I didnt read) but when you spend £70 for a room you expect to get en-suite. We had a shower and sink in the bedroom with a toilet down the hall way which we had to share with other guests. Also there was no tv at all. Decor throughout was definitely not period and more gothic - was a little scary infact. Lots of little bits that just needed fixing throughout too. Overall although they were great hosts I dont think I would go back - and will take my money elsewhere next time.

It was an interesting old building in a peaceful country area. Yvonne and Gareth were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a pleasant view and the bed was very comfortable. The menu was very limited and we were amazed to find that the hotel was not licensed! Our room was described as having en-suite facilities but the toilet was actually along the landing and shared with other rooms (fortunately we were the only guests that night). The hotel was rated 4 star - we would have expected better facilities at this level,
