Room was nice, Clean tidy and location was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Some of the staff need training in customer service, The reception area needs sorting it is a mess and out side needs cleaning up. There is a little playground for children but next to a load of building rubble. The hotel seems to be missing out on a few pointers to show it in its best light, and it seems like there are many unfinished projects. It is a shame this could be a fantastic hotel. Send for the Hotel Inspector is my advice.

A very friendly place, quiet and peaceful. We were happy to leave our two motor bikes in the car park without chaining them up! Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. We will definitely visit again. Only a short drive to the beach and beautiful scenery.

The location and the breakfast were good. The bathroom was clean. The immediate surroundings I.E. on the hotel property were tatty in the extreme and not what the web picture showed. The staff appeared unkempt which put us off but they were friendly and helpful.

Lovely clean rooms and well equipped. Beautiful views from the bedroom and the dining area.Plenty of parking. The food was lovely with plenty of choice. Because the guesthouse is pretty secluded, there was no noise at night time. Less than 10 mins away from the promenade. On the whole, a very pleasant stay On first impressions, some of the staff would benefit from improving their appearance. The mattresses were a little lumpy on the double & bunk beds.

The food at the guest house was very good - the breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. The room was clean and functional, with a lovely view of the hills. The staff were friendly and we were offered assistance with our luggage on arrival.

I read with interest that the staff needed to change attitudes. I found that the family run guest house staff had dry personalities. That said, they were really friendly and you could have a laugh with them. They were certainly straight talking but it is the way you take it that matters. Overall it was great value for money. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast good and the evening meal deal was great with real home made chips! Good location with fine views. We would definately stay again.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely location. The food in the restaurant was very tasty - good curry and lovely home made chips! The double bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but this is universal with most hotel / guest house beds unfortunately.

I had an excellent evening meal and the cooked breakfast was one of the best I have had. The room was warm and cosy despite freezing temperatures outside. Staff were polite and courteous but dressed very casually. This could be due to the time of year and the hotel being vey quiet.

Clean and quiet. Good location for us; out of the town. Space for parking. Welsh 'fry up' for breakfast is generous and enough to set you up or the day. We declined it this time and had cereals followed by toast. Not a major issue but the establishment doesn't go out of its way to project a quality image - the old ice-cream van parked outside, derelict building and a caravan at the back, over-full and smelly ashtray in smokers area outside the front door. Would have liked to see Muesli and Yoghurt on the breakfast menu.

Very comfortable and well equipped room. We chose this accommodation because it accepted dogs and the dog enjoyed it too. Excellent freshly prepared cooked breakfast. Although we booked a double room we had the 'disabled room' which was fine with a large walk in bathroom/shower etc...
