Enjoying spectacular views over the River Teifi, Poppit Sands beach and Cardigan Bay beyond, this charming traditional inn has a stunning location that is truly inspirational.

Incredible views across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can be enjoyed from Gwbert Hotel’s bistro.

Set in an elegant Georgian house, Llys Meddyg offers creative, home-cooked food and boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The hotel is nestled under Carningli Mountain, on the Nevern Estuary.
Score from 30 reviews Fabulous
The staff were lovely -really welcoming and friendly. Did all they could to help
The breakfast times were too restrictive and too early if you do not have to rush off to work.
Smart, modern looking bedroom and bathroom. Warm and comfortable with enough facilities. Quiet hotel but some passing traffic noise in mornings. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast, even though you have to walk through to next door hotel. Close to shops.
Good value clean accommodation with some parking. Free wifi. Good breakfast.
Bed too soft for me
The hotel was very nicely decorated, spacious room and nice and warm.
There were several long dark hairs in the bath, on the wall next to the bath and on the floor in the bathroom. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, far too many hairs to have just been overlooked. And there were holes in the sheet on the bed too. Shame, otherwise it would have been a lovely stay.
Local people speaking Welsh, near to shops and pubs, old building with character, coast path and dolphins
Sausage (selsig) not to my taste but rest of breakfast hearty
Good central location, set back off road. Warm and welcoming with clean nicely decorated rooms and communal areas.
Scaffold outside the building Late check in after 3.00
Central location, car parking, wifi, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
There was no evening meal on offer and there didn't seem to be many options in the village.
Good location. Liked the pink exterior colour. Helpful staff. On site parking. Good breakfast options.
Cawsom arhosiad hyfryd yma. Mae'r staff yn hynod groesawgar ac mae awyrgylch Gymreig a Chymraeg y llety yn ei wneud yn gartrefol. Brecwast ardderchog.
Everything was over and above our expectations, very helpfull staff, cleanliness, breakfast etc etc...we will be using this lovely place on all future visits our family in Wales.
Lovely room, clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast, good bathroom.
Stairs, but they were wide and not tricky . Knew this beforehand and we got a good price.
Room lovely and clean , modern but not cold looking. breakfast better than some 3/4star hotels . Free parking a bonus . Staff friendly . All in all a great little guest house.
2nd time I've stayed in recent months, lovely place, very helpful & efficient.
breakfast and staff-- evening and morning
wall paper in bedroom and reading light too far up the wall
location is good, with walking distance of the High Street
We had a top floor room which was large and bright. The decor was nice.
So many stairs...would have greatly appreciated help with luggage. Had to pay in advance before seeing the room. We found that to be a bit tacky.
Friendly & helpful staff. Spotless & comfortable room. Great location.
Building is bright and distinctive outside. Light and airy inside. I was met by a very pleasant teenage girl who knew her job. My room was comfortable and clean. There is a car park which is very helpful.
such a comfortable, friendly atmosphere . . .our bedroom was beautiful, and our breakfast delicious!
Location of Llety Teifi is excellent, very central, plentiful parking. Cardigan also a good centre for walking either south on Pembrokeshire coast path or north on the Ceredigion path and also along the Teifi via Nature Trail.
Very disappointed to find there was not a really nice restaurant for dinner in Cardigan. The 2 recommended by the guesthouse were ok but a small, limited menu which did not change. Given proximity to the sea not even a good, fresh fish option. In fact no 'specials' at all.
Central location and clean comfortable rooms. Parking wasn't as problematic as most people say so don't let that put you off.
Cardigan town does appear quite rough and most of the pubs weren't that accommodating to tourists, however, there are some real gems in the likes of the Eagle pub (across the bridge) and 25 Mile which does amazing local food.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean with all needed facilities. Lovely period house. Breakfast very good.
Single room overlooking the garden was very small with not much room to move around from one side of the bed to the other. For a single traveller, it would have been useful to have the option of an evening meal offered.
We liked the spacious room and the well fitted and good sized bathroom.
Unfortunately the breakfast in the neighbouring guest house let the side down a bit. The coffee appeared to be nescafe and the bread tasted synthetic.
the room (single room so small, but beautifully equipped and comfortable) staff - very friendly breakfast - all you can eat on site parking (which surprised me considering its just a small guesthouse) location - ideal for town centre
would have liked some hot chocolate along with the tea & coffee in the room. Yep, thats the only thing I would change about this loveyl little place
