Located next to the train station
Bathroom so small I have never seen one like it with toilet sink and shower combined in a plastic room and shower was not in full working order.
Location very close to the centre of town and the railway station. Excellent imaginative photography, photographer wins an award!
Lack of car park space (room for ONLY 2 CARS!!) Bathroom is in a cupboard (well it seemed like one!) VERY SMALL. Internet Very sposmadic.
Staff very helpful and polite. Bedroom clean, breakfast good.
Bathroom was dreadfully small. You could not turn round in it. I had read the bathroom was small but did not think it would be that small!! Had a bedroom downstairs could have done with a hand rail down the two steps for my friend is nearly 90! Only lighting in the bedroom was a light by the bed. Had to ask for a bulb as only one side of light had a bulb. No main light.
Location close to centre. Manager friendly. Large bedroom. Good breakfast
Bathroom was a portakabin type but v clear and fine for short stay
Not much, however manager tried to be pleasant but it was a losing battle
Towels very poor, bed linen awful. Bathroom a joke, it was a cubicle like what is on a houseboat. Walls in breakfast room dirty. The whole place needed painting. Whoever created the brochure must of had a diploma in creative writing. Would have loved to walk out immediately but didn't want owner to get money for nothing as he had already charged credit card.
The staff were excellent and very friendly
Generally a bit untidy. Bathroom was comically small
Good position, good breakfast, good for town centre
Parking,on suit to small
Not much of a car park.
the location - 5 minute walk to city centre
the manager made me feel uncomfortable......I'd booked a twin room but he told me I'd got a double room, my mistake he said (!) then our room wasn't made up, so he put us in a family room.......breakfast was awful - uncooked sausages, tinned mushrooms, overdone egg.....very slow service, only one waitress for about ten tables.......room had an awful plastic capsule for en-suite facilities.............car park was tiny and no room left, so had to park car on a private street, which didn't feel safe........hotel has had a lot of bad reviews, and if I'd read them beforehand, I would not have booked this hotel!!!
Close to centre, space in room
Toilet facilities, with such a big room there is space for proper toilet, not a portaloo with a step.
breakfast and friendly staff
could do with decorating
the location was great and the staff were very friendly
There was an iron and an ironing board in the room.
Hotel keeper was 'interesting' in the way he spoke, I guess not everyone has the same sense of humour. Stains on bedsheets, holes in towels. Very run down, and the worst bathrooms I've come accross, all plastic from floor to ceiling like a caravan wet room!? No space to turn, wobbly toilet!
The staff are very pleasant and there is a good variety of options for breakfast, from full English to continental.
Th hotel was cold due go there being no heating turn on Al though there was plenty of hot water . The hotel would benefit from a complete decoration to Brighton the place up
The shops and restaurants and the old sight and the old buildings
The step up in to the shower and the shower area was dirty it would not pass the hygiene standards
Wifi Coin sized soaps lathered well
Dated rooms. Online pictures paint the place in a much better light than reality The carpet had not been vacumed in a long time with stains on the floor, wallpaper and bedsheets The bathroom unit is small (25 square feet !) Car park was full (accomodates 4 cars) so had to pay £6 for external carpark Could hear the neighbours lovemaking noices.
Location into town brilliant lovely Staff an every cheap
tiny small toilet and shower its like Your in the shower whilst having a wee....even have to Wit down before u shut the door and im not fat
Breakfast was good & the rooms were clean and it was located close enough to walk into Chester
The bathroom facilities were en-suite but were small, it was like climbing into the wardrobe for a shower.
Friendly staff Nice food A warm welcome Amazing power shower Closeness to town
Old, uncomfortable bed Paper thin walls = noisy Tiny, caravan style bathroom Closeness to sex shops
Love the price, staff n food. And for a short break room perfect. Loads of space for our toddler to move about.
The bathroom lol But it does us for the short term. Just wish it had a bath.
The staff were friendly and accomodating. Decent location. Decent breakfast.
The bed linen was appalling, the bathroom/cupboard which housed the toilet and shower was ridiculous...however, nothing that a visit from the "Hotel Inspector" couldn't fix!! It's a shame that the details let down the hotels good points.
Tied decor Parking Area
The way we were treated. The room was not ready until 9pm, then STILL not cleaned properly! The replacement room towels were dirty. We did not eat there.
Owner was friendly and breakfast was ok.
Hotel was grubby and in a poor area of town. Whole interior and exterior was desperately in need of redecoration. Bedding was old and worn with slight stains. The room was noisy and the bathroom was a tiny caravan cubicle with a faint air of grubbiness!
After making the booking I didn't realise the hotel shuts at 10pm. After speaking to one of the staff on the reception because I couldn't get to my destination before 11 then we tryed to resolve the situation, The staff on the reception was fantastic they called me back few times to sort out the solution also offered to drop off the hotel key to one of my friend but unfortunately it wasn't on his way at the end they called me and said because they close at 10 they will lleft the hotel key under the mat and also explained how to access my room... Thank you for the fantastic service will definitely recommend...
