The cooked breakfast was probably the best thing about our stay at the hotel and location from the railway station. I read the reviews regarding the bathrooms so expected them to be small and that was an understatement!Tiny more like!!Also the wi-fi struggled to work as we were on the top floor.Had to place laptop on floor near to door to pick up signal. |

The hotel was situated close to the center of chester meaning everything was within walking distance and for the time that we were there we never had to use a taxi. The rooms were comfortable and perfect for a weekend break and the food that was provided was of excellent standard. |

The location of the hotel was great to be able to walk to the city centre. Approx 5-10mins. The hotel owner was very friendly and great with our 8 year old. Breakfast was good and made fresh and the rooms were comfortable and TV's had freeview digital channels. The only real downside was parking as the hotel only has a couple of spaces. Parking was available on the local streets only until 8.00am but the station car park was only round the corner for a fee. The en-suite bathrooms were only pods approx 2000mm x 600mm and were a bit of a squeeze but acceptable. |

The manager was extremely helpful, the room was very clean and the beds comfortable, the shower ensuite was very small but very clean. Fresh towels each day and the room cleaned but the beds were not made. Breakfast menu and service were excellent. A good-value hotel. There was no lift and the room cleaning routine did not include making the beds even though there were fresh towels left for us on the unmade beds. |

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bright and comfortable.En-suit was compact yet clean and had a good shower. Our breakfasts were very nice, fast efficient service. The Italian restaurant over the road from the Hotel was very good and worth a visit. Limited Guest parking. The railway car park was very close and did not find it an inconvenience to use plus not very expensive. |

Very close to town and station. Felt like a hotel more than a guest house so you didn't feel like you had to be overly quiet all the time |

Nicely situated - convenient for station and for town centre but still managed to be quiet (we were at the back), well decorated, friendly and helpful staff, clean Didn't quite live up to previous reviews - had the feeling that the initial enthusiasm had dropped and that perhaps the owner has slightly taken his eye off the ball. Breakfast advertised on web site was not all available; while hotel was basically very clean there were a couple of bits of the bathroom that were a bit grubby. Car parking is a major issue - very small car park and on street parking is resident only. Room was very hot, even tho weather was mild |

The location of the accommodation was very central and the Italian Restaurant opposite was very good. We booked this hotel from the pictures and description on the internet, however when we arrived we were taken out of the main door and into a building attached. This accommodation was very basic and dated and the en-suite was the size of a phone box. We would have complained if we had been staying for more than 1 evening. |

The room was very clean and well decorated. The satelite was working and the TV image was very clear. The staff was very friendly and the full english breakfast was very good. I think the WC in the room is very small. |

The warm friendly welcome, the position of the hotel close to the towncentre. Room facilities were very good, and a very good breakfast. Fortunately the hotel was not busy and so parking was not a problem, but parking would be problematic if the hotel was full of guests. |
