Friendly clean and comfortable bed smelt lovely and clean local pub pleasant value for money would stay again

Room to hot for us but then you can't please all couldn't have window open as it was at top of fire escape car parking poor

The staff were very friendly and helpfull the roons were a bit basic but were clean.A good full english breakfast.Plenty of toast and coffee.

The bathrooms were plastic pods with not much room.

Location was good 5min from train station and only a mile from racecourse . Room ok just have to have a sense of humour to use the shower/bathroom/toilet ... Overall we enjoyed our stay ; staff very welcoming and breakfast was excellent ...

As I mentioned earlier the room was fine apart from the cupboard in the corner actually contained the toilet, sink and shower; was very hard to move around . You need a sense of humour to use this and if you are a larger person you've got no chance!!!

Very small room and bathroom( smaller than in a caravan), in need of decorating with peeling paint.

The room is really clean and the staffs are very friendly.

The restroom is too small and the price is too expensive. I would like to recommend to friends if the price could be a little bit lower.

Other guest kicked front door in in middle of night, didn't get much sleep. Room was too warm and tv had poor reception

Price was okay. Location was good in respect to being near to the city center.

In desperate need of refurbishment. Noisy at night with people coming in and slamming doors and shouting. Breakfast was disgusting Bathroom was very small.

It was close to the station.

Food was horrible. sheets smelt unwashed, mattress cover was filthy and covered in stains and hair. Mould on walls. Tv didn't work. Pillows smelt. Bathroom floor filthy. Towels were stained and smelt unwashed. Nothing at all like pictures on website.

The choice at breakfast was excellent there was everything and a full English was not greasy. It was very cold outside but they did not skimp on the heating. The staff were very friendly. The bedroom was clean. There was tea & coffee facilities.

The paint work was looking tired and needed a make-over. Parking was enough for about 5 cars. So the early bird got the parking space.

Price - £60 B&B near city centre was good value

Tv didn't work, kept freezing. Wet room was not as clean as would have been expected.

Lovely warm room on the coldest Easter weekend I've ever known! The staff were very friendly and helpful and obliging. Breakfast was a lovely array of choices. It was only 6-8 minutes walk away from the town centre! Car park nearby at the railway station handy to park your car for 24 hours for £5.70!

Not situated in the best end of town but great for walking in and out of town. The bathroom as has been commented on before was quite small but so i am so it didn't worry me but might others.

I got bitten by bedbugs very badly. I was not able to sleep from 3 am and could not get any other room because the reception was closed. I received a full refund but bites are very itchy. I do not recommend staying there until they sort out that problem.

This hotel on first look was not great but once inside it was different ,warm,clean,and the breakfast was everything you would want,staff very friendly.and I would tell anyone to give it a try well worth it

No car parking

I liked it because it was close to the city centre and all the shops , bars, restaurants etc

I didnt like the bathroom at all ive got a problem with my leg a it was a big step up a down it was like being in a caravan

the room was spacious.

we did not sleep at all due to excessive noise until 6 am from the room next door. very unhappy
