The staff were very helpful and informative. The wifi was handy. The location is great.
The cleanliness wasnt great. The cups were dirty with dribble marks that is obviously easily resolved. The cover over the double bed had massive tea stains on !! The curtains were not attached to the rails. There was a screw to hang a hand towel on. Unfortunately the shower stopped working in the middle of my husband using it so none of us had showers. There was a bath that my husband had to use but given the general standard there i didnt think would be very clean. We won't stay here again which is unfortunate as my daughter is in uni here and it would have been nice to have found somewhere we could regularly stay.
We liked the location of the property, and the free wifi
Room and utensils to make coffee or tea were dirty. Bed sheets and covers were jumbled together, all different colours, not a set. Cover over the quilt was dirty, the curtains were dusty. This was our 5th visit to the lovely town of Aberystwyth and all the other properties we stayed in were better equipped at the same price.
Peace - there were very few if any other guests in this 2nd location for the guest house.
The friendly, homely atmosphere was wonderful and the breakfast was incredible!
There was nothing about this place I didn't like
Staff was friendly, bed and cushions were comfortable.
The place has seen better days, rust and signs of wear were evident in the room and en suite. It could also do with better cleaning. I prefer B&Bs to hotels on my travels and wouldn't book a room in this one again nor recommend it to a friend. The 8.4 score at the time of booking doesn't do justice to other similarly scored establishments.
everything except location
Everything, hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, room is clean, comfortable and quiet, it's right in the centre of town and it's outstanding value for money.
It's always nice to stay at Llwynygog as I know that I'll receive a lovely welcome from the proprietors. Easy and very quick check-in process. The room that I stayed in was of the highest quality and situated at the rear looing out at the tennis courts. Very quiet indeed. I decided against breakfast in the morning solely on the fact that I knew that I'd be having a very heavy meal the evening before (followed by a few drinks). I've had breakfast there before though and was really nice indeed from what I recall. Looking forward to staying at Llwynygog in the near future. Thank you.
There was nothing I didn't like about Llwynygog and everything to me was absolutely perfect.
excellent wifi connection
asked for money as soon as i walked in the door. booking states check in and out times, so i didn't appreciate texts, phone calls and e mails , as to my arrival, very unwelcoming. mismatched, dirty bedding, small towel and no hand towel, no alarm clock as stated- "clocks in all rooms- summer 2014". room did not appear clean. fire doors wedged open. i have stayed many times in aberystwyth and have had far better value else where. parking would be horrific in summer, as it is only free till 9am.
Very friendly family run. The room was fine warm and comfortable.
Breakfast was the only let down as limited choice and light on quantity.
Comfortable place to stay, clean, good facilities and nice owners! Would definitely go back.
The staff could not possibly have been more helpful. I made a lot of last minute changes to my booking and the guest house were only too happy to oblige. I was very pleasantly surprised for the price we paid how great the rooms were. The two rooms we booked were both well decorated and homely, while functional and comfortable. I genuinely cannot think of anything negative about the hotel, location is in town but in a quieter side. I would have no hesitation booking here again.
They rang stating they had a walking customer and sold the room and now only had a downgraded room with shared toilet and shower for us! Not good!!!
I found blood clots in the shower and sperm stains on my bedding.
very nice, homey athmosphere, very sweet people. breakfast is freshly made for each guest, which was great.
Room is good it's a suite. Good staff and very friendly.
Heating went off in the night. Wi-Fi was dropping often.
WONDERFUL TOWN. I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN AND I'LL STAY THERE AGAIN. THE HOTEL IS NEXT TO THE PROMENADE. LESS THAN 10 MINUTES FROM THE TRAIN STATION. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM WONDERFUL LANDLADY! FAMILY BUSINESS. CLEAN, TIDY, COMFORTABLE. ENJOYED THE BREAKFAST. OVERALL GREAT!
NO ISSUES TO MENTION.
Faulty electrics in room A bit dirty Light that flashes from behind mirror in the night
Comfortable bed Good breakfast Free WiFi
Shared bathroom Small room, limited hanging space
I was greated by a lovely lady with a lovely smile who accomodated my late check. Early breakfast was arranged (7am) as I had to leave early. Nice breakfast, friendly people, would definately recomend and stay again
Can't fault anything really.
friendly staff, nice room, warm and comfortable and modern feel, good breakfast, right in the middle of town - minutes to the seafront
parking outside only from 6pm to 9 am - we were lucky to park nearby - in high season this would be an issue -
The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location, just a minute or two from sea front.
There was a faulty mirror light in the room that flashed during the night--we had to cover it with a towel because it was quite annoying. Also-I didn't like it there was no shower on the floor we stayed on.
Well presented accommodation in a very accessible area. Room was clean and warm and did the job.
Very welcoming, nice friendly staff!!! Nice & relaxing!!! Will defintly be back!!
