The staff could not donough to make our stay excellent. Our sea facing room was massive with a great sitting area to relax and watch the views across Holy Isle.
We've stayed in Lamlash many times over the years because we love it but never really had a great experience in our accommodation until we stayed at Lamlash Bay - it had everything and more we could want from the warm welcome to spacious compfy room. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day and fab hand made pizza from the restaurant in the evening. All the staff were so friendly and helpful we will definitely be returning - thank you all
Fantastic location with scenery and amenities. Good in the hotel was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
Wifi connection not powerful enough to reach the top floor. Bed was very rickity and the shower was small for an average 6ft person.
just a small point, but no razor point in the bathroom
Location, friendly staff, good food and wine selection.
Wifi was very slow.
Staff, food, room, location.
Sea view location
Everything! The bar had an informal relaxede atmosphere. The food was great! Good Wi-Fi which was easy to access.
There was nothing not to like!
Good hotel in a really good place for access to other areas of Arran hi
The staff were friendly. Good location.
No reception area. Room not worth the amount charged. Uncomfortable bed. Noisy.
Lovely location, nice food in the restaurant at night. Staff were friendly & pleasant.
Breakfast was poor, no accommodation made for gluten-intolerant diet.. Shower was terrible, my 10-year old was scalded by the suddenly roasting water...and the lock was faulty, locking my daughter (and both of us on a separate occasion) in the room. Painting works were happening & no warning of tarpaulin-covered stairs (which I tripped on)
Location (do pay extra for a sea view), the size of the room (the shower room was small but adequate), the food was very good.
The curtains could have been more substantial to block the light - especially as the floodlight at the front of the hotel shone directly on the window (this was turned off at some point in the night). Strange smell in the corridor was a bit off-putting (nothing in the room though luckily).
The family suite was a fully self contained 2 bedroom flat. It was perfect for the 5 of us. 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a baby. The breakfast was excellent. My first ever visit to Arran and hopefully not the last. Fresh pizza was delivered to our door straight from the restaurant. Perfect!
nothing. It was all we could have wanted.
Very quiet staff were very helpful would come bk amazing wee place to visit the drift inn was very nice aswel burgers were lovely!
The location on Lamlash Bay was beautiful with views across to Holy Isle. A 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Brodick. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was mostly good with excellent coffee. Good wifi and TV.
The main problem was our very uncomfortable bed which meant we didn't sleep well. Dinner was not great - mainly pizzas and Italian dishes not making use of terrific local produce. Not good value for money.
The room was roomy and spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful view from the restaurant.
The bedroom had two windows but both looked onto other parts of the building,no view at all.
Drunk locals swearing loudly and often at the bar A little overpriced
Scenery and friendliness of staff and locals
Friendly, helpful staff and very pleasant location beside Lamlash Bay
At £99 pp sharing twin room, too expensive for standard - would be great hotel if priced a bit lower.
Staff Breakfasts View
Showers are too small and water not hot enough Rooms not cleaned properly Towels thin
Family room overrated (too expensive) plus needs refurbishing Breakfast ok Restaurant overrated
We loved the food! Had a lovely evening meal when we arrived and a great breakfast the next day. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly too!
There was nothing we didn't like however the shower in our ensuite was slow to drain. Also perhaps making a reception area or desk but that didn't ruin our experience. Just a suggestion!
The location of the hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful.
The bed in room 2 was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. You could feel the springs of the mattress and I woke with a sore back.
Poor mattress on beds in both superior rooms at front of hotel
