The price we paid was very keen for such a clean and comfortable hotel. The old village of Kenilworth is delightful. The food was ok but only just ok...I was expecting something that was really good and unfortunately it wasn`t..... |

Welcoming and friendly staff, good modern design, very clean and comfortable room with excellent bathroom. It was great to dine in the restaurant with its shellfish etc. I found that I did not sleep well because the bed was too soft; I am used to a hardish matress. Also I would have liked an armchair in my room. |

Polite and helpful staff. Nice bar, restaurant service and food was very good. Room too warm and too noisy until quite late - it was above the restaurant. I would stay there again because the location is handy for Warwick University and the overall quality of the hotel is good and the staff were good too. But I would ask for a room that was guaranteed to be quiet so that I could get to sleep at a reasonable time. |

It was comfortable yet we felt spolit. The staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. As it was directly above a restaurant you could hear the fans going until about 11 at night but we never went to bed before this so it wasn't a problem. The light in the bathroom was on a timer so sometimes turned itself off whilst we were still inside. There were no major problems with the hotel that would put us off recommending others. |

Our room was really spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean, with all the facilities that we needed-tea/coffee facilities etc. We were made to feel welcome by the staff who were really friendly. The shower was great! The location was lovely. The guest lounge was very nice and the bar next door was very good as well, with a nice selection of wine! Very good value for money. I was sorry that we were only staying for one night because I could have quite happily stayed longer! The only criticism that I have is that service in the restaurant was a bit chaotic, especially in the evening. Admittedly, we did eat quite late when service was winding down but there seemed to be too many staff with nothing to do, then when we wanted something we couldn't get anyone's attention because they were too busy chatting among themselves! The food was a bit hit and miss. One of our mains was great and the other wasn't good. The continental breakfast in the morning was fine, with a good choice, although I would have appreciated being offered more tea! |

The staff were very friendly and most helpful and kept checking to ask whether you were happy with everything. They went out of their way to assist with the manner of information required. The cleanliness was outstanding. Car parking was a slight problem after a long journey byt they soon sorted that for me. I would happily stay there again. I think the restuarant prices were slightly too high. Also the music in the restuarant was not conducive to enjoying a relaxing meal or good digestion! Many of the clients on Saturday night were middle aged to older people so pop music (not even good pop music) was not appropriate. |

We liked the location and the look of the hotel. Our room was pretty and the bed very comfortable. Our room was quiet overnight. Car park at rear was handy and we always managed to find a space. The reception staff were helpful and courteous. The en suite bathroom was small and in need of refurbishment. There was no phone in the room and info about the hotel and facilities was sparse. Lights in the en suite went off automatically after only a few minutes - really irritating. Some ceilings in the room and in passageways were very low. The service in the dining room at breakfast was poor. The dining room smelt of fish at breakfast which was rather off-putting. |

Good location in the old part of Kenilworth with a great real ale bar near by. Clean comfortable rooms good food. Pleasant helpful staff. As a non breakfast person liked the option of paying extra for cooked breakfast if required. Not a complaint or a problem for us but it is a fish restaurant and so does smell of fish cooking in the evening. The hotel is an old building and has lots of internal steps to different levels - staff were helpful and gave my parents a groundfloor room. |
