The hotel is very nice and most of the staff were very nice and friendly. Our room was lovely but we thought we had booked a different type of room- I later learned that the pictures and description of room were wrong for the room we had book and price we had paid. We informed the receptionist that we thought we should have got a different room. She had a look and told us that description and pictures were wrong. I was slightly disappointed by this and think it could have been handled slight better by the receptionist. We would definitely go back although next time I would make sure I got what I thought I was booking.
The swimming pool was excellent. The food was fantastic.
Breakfast coffee was far too weak. main complaint: lighting in bedroom and in dining room was too dull. It was impossible to read in bed and Lighting was too dull. It was impossible to read in bed and difficult to read the menu in the dining room
All was better than expected
Only issue was poor vegetarian options and the outside hot tub was cool
Everything some previous guests said hotel was tired well hotel was not tired was very comfortable dinner was better than 1st night at the george and spa spotless very happy guest
Excellent facilitates and food!
double bed was very small.
Everything is great with incredible scenery
The location, staff and the food.
Our room had dreadful lighting which led to us having to remove the lampshades from the lamps in our room just to enable us to read or use our tablets. Very, very poor and this will put us off returning.
facilities were excellent!
rooms could be doing with a little modernisation!
Hotel it's self was lovely and the staff were nice.
I didn't like the room as felt like it needed a good freshing up, the TV was lower than the bed and stuck in a corner, the Room felt like it hadn't been cleaned, lighting in the room was shocking as one side was bright the other side in darkness.
Everything beautiful view from room
Bath and wash hand basin were a bit of an issue to work , possible could do with updating fixtures of giving instructions
Love the hotel and its location. Completely chilled
Little expensive but worth it
It's our second time there and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant it's very relaxing and the food is very good will be returning early next year for another wee relaxing overnight stay
Can't fault anything
Food. Hot tub
From the moment we arrived the receptionist couldn't have been more welcoming. We were on our honeymoon and were given a lovely room with a fantastic view. Everything was just perfect, food, room, service. Can't find anything to fault it, will definitely be back.
Nothing to dislike
Thought the pool area was superb nice pleasant walk into the shops
room perfectly adequate,but just adequate
The staff (reception, bar, restaurant) is great and will do the utmost for you. Comfortable rooms, a very nice swimming pool, hot tub and small sauna which we enjoyed immensely. Also breakfast was extensive with the possibility to order a hot breakfast as well. One night we had dinner in the restaurant and the food and wine were excellent. This is maybe not the most luxurious hotel that you have evre visited, but you'll feel at home immediately.
very welcoming and relaxing
The only negative comment my parents gave was the time in between courses - main course arrived 45 mins after their starter but they thoroughly enjoyed their food! Mum really enjoyed her spa treatments too!
Food was fantastic! Treatments to die for! Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi superb! Views stunning!
Room was basic and run down Bathroom needed a paint Drink was expensive
Lovely scenery, good food & great spa treatments
View from room, lack of hotel entertainment in evening, furnishings were tired and dated
Staff and location.
Had noisy neighbours above us. No facilities in swimming pool area to dry wet swim wear. Restaurant ran out of two desserts early on Saturday night. They then charged us twice for desserts we did not get on our order. Staff did not query this double order of desserts until I brought it to their attention. This did not impress me at all.
Nothing is a rush. Everyone is cheery and happy to help.
Spa was fully booked and they ran out of muscles at dinner, wich was the 2 main reasons I went. But sill enjoyed it.
