From the moment we arrived the receptionist couldn't have been more welcoming. We were on our honeymoon and were given a lovely room with a fantastic view. Everything was just perfect, food, room, service. Can't find anything to fault it, will definitely be back.
Nothing to dislike
Thought the pool area was superb nice pleasant walk into the shops
room perfectly adequate,but just adequate
The staff (reception, bar, restaurant) is great and will do the utmost for you. Comfortable rooms, a very nice swimming pool, hot tub and small sauna which we enjoyed immensely. Also breakfast was extensive with the possibility to order a hot breakfast as well. One night we had dinner in the restaurant and the food and wine were excellent. This is maybe not the most luxurious hotel that you have evre visited, but you'll feel at home immediately.
very welcoming and relaxing
The only negative comment my parents gave was the time in between courses - main course arrived 45 mins after their starter but they thoroughly enjoyed their food! Mum really enjoyed her spa treatments too!
Food was fantastic! Treatments to die for! Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi superb! Views stunning!
Room was basic and run down Bathroom needed a paint Drink was expensive
Lovely scenery, good food & great spa treatments
View from room, lack of hotel entertainment in evening, furnishings were tired and dated
Staff and location.
Had noisy neighbours above us. No facilities in swimming pool area to dry wet swim wear. Restaurant ran out of two desserts early on Saturday night. They then charged us twice for desserts we did not get on our order. Staff did not query this double order of desserts until I brought it to their attention. This did not impress me at all.
Nothing is a rush. Everyone is cheery and happy to help.
Spa was fully booked and they ran out of muscles at dinner, wich was the 2 main reasons I went. But sill enjoyed it.
the inside hottub was superb. The bed was so comfortable and the food at the clansman was first class! As there was no pool supervision there was a large group of girls sitting with only their feet in the jacuzzi spreadout right around the jacuzzi. They stayed like this for at least an hour making it impossible to get a turn in it. Was a bit off putting.
I didnt like that the outside jacuzzi was cold, played about with the settings but it wasnt heating at all.
Just love the outlook from the hotel. Lovely relaxing lounge and night staff very friendly . We were late back to hotel as we had met up with friends but the night staff still cheery and ready to serve you with whatever you wished.... Thank you:)
Not that we have much to moan about but I would prefer a buffet style hot breakfast as my husband is a fussy eater..... :( breakfast was poor value for money.!!!
Friendly staff and a lovely meal
The room was very basic and also small for the cost.
Loved the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant helpful staff. Meals were lovely and pool/spa area was very good :). Will definately be back :)
Location. Staff were polite.
Not great service at breakfast or dinner times. Not a great menu for dinner and the full breakfast was a bit sparse.
No hot water No knowledge of my booking Room had cobwebs. Hadn't been cleaned for sometime
Hotel lobby, lounge and restaurant were lovely
Bedrooms could be doing with some modernisation especially en suite bathrooms
Ideal for overnight stay on our journey to Mull. Extremely good food with excellent choice. Pet friendly.
The room was too hot and the heat was going in the hallway. The windows barely opened. We were given a fan, so that helped. There was only one HEAVY comforter on the bed. I would have liked a sheet.
Great location, fabulous food, and courteous, helpful staff.
Our 'executive' room had the most uncomfortable mattress, which made for a very long, restless night. The Management were very helpful, however, and assured us that it would be dealt with.
The location, scenery, food and the facilities in the hotel were brilliant.
There was nothing to dislike.
Spa facilities were excellent and we loved the large room with every comfort, especially the use of tweed in the interior design.
We had one of the best meals we've ever had, here in the hotel. The mussels, oysters, and lagoustines were superior, and the fish was excellent. It set the standard for the rest of our trip.
No staff around in the morning when we wanted to have breakfast.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and freshly prepared. Didn't try the restaurant but the food in the bar was good. Our room was clean tidy and comfortable. Well worth taking time to use the pool and sauna.
