Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and freshly prepared. Didn't try the restaurant but the food in the bar was good. Our room was clean tidy and comfortable. Well worth taking time to use the pool and sauna.
Liked everything about the hotel.. fantastic location..good staff.. food and service and stunning changing views..
Poor wifi which may not be the hotels fault. .
Hotel and staff were excellent. Very clean, food great and excellent value for money. Exactly what we wanted.. a relaxing few days.
Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful; swimming pool
Never received fruit bowl which should have been part of our package; didn't particularly fancy staying in a room which had a connecting door to the next room, especially as we did not know the other guests
Superb hotel with fantastic staff. Great restaurant wonderful lounge and the location is second to none
Spa treatments, pool and the staff were great. Nice food too. The rooms were tired and dated but you only sleep in these.
Bathroom was very dated, shower curtain was a throwback to the 80s. Room could have been a bit nicer, but did the job.
uniqueness of the hotel as opposed to the routine and decor of standard chain hotels personal touch of hotel staff when dealing with requests lounge bar - food and ambience
Loved the staff
Except the reception staff - not as friendly or helpful as all other areas of the hotel, bar and spa staff outstanding - which showed up the reception team as bit quite so good.
The location . The facilities. Excellent food. Very pleasant rooms. Peace and quiet .
From the outside, this place is a gem. Lovely building looking out at breathtaking scenery (the eponymous loch). The staff were very good and they were able to accommodate us with only an hour's notice. The room was clean and quaint. The bed was a double, so not very spacious, but comfortable. Parking is ample and convenient. If at all possible, get a room with a loch view.
As was the case in every room we booked in Scotland, there is no air conditioning and WiFi was a little unreliable. No ding there, because that's just par for the course, but worth noting. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but is extremely average continental breakfast fare.
Location is great
Room was outdated and dusty
Bar prices high
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was only a short walk nack into Inverary. The pool was nice and refreshing.
Our executive bedroom looked out over a loading bay/car park. The bar was a bit pricy...perhaps aimed more at the tourist than the local people.
Location Comfortable rooms ood food
Loved the location overlooking the loch. Didn't have dinner in the hotel, but the breakfast was very good and cooked to order.
Definitely overpriced for a standard room that was pretty basic. No soap in the bathroom.
Been several times everything great about this hotel and fabulous position overlooking Loch
Staff were very pleasant Hard working Leisure facilities were great
Slight mix up with booking But fixed on arrival.. Bathroom towels were foul it looked like there was human waste on them, no on reception available to get then changed had to use towels from pool .....
The room , it was to hot and dark . Terrible ,could not open the window because of the midges
As I work in and around the area regularly I brought my partner who is now my fiance to see the area I talk about. Good facilities and pleasant staff!
I noticed that the wond on the coffee machine was caked in burnt on milk. As I am trained in making various coffee drinks I was not impressed with this one thing!.
beautiful hotel, scenery and surroundings. friendly, polite staff. very comfortable bed with decent facilities in room
didn't like the fact that our room overlooked a car park and kitchen. Did NOT like the fact that receptionist directed us to the bar meal section and not the restaurant. After she told us that was all that was available, when the dining room was still open and had seating. another bug bear was there no toilet brushes available in either the bedrooms or public toilets
Steam room wasn't in operation.
The cleanliness of room and spa, friendly staff. Great area of Scotland
Bit expensive for room. Will be back hopefully get a deal.
The whole experience, food, spa and atmosphere
Loved our room facing the loch, didn't ask for a loch view but really glad we got one, leisure facilities are amazing, highly recommend the hotel & shall be staying again
The location was fantastic. Service of staff very pleasant and friendly.
The room was an executive room, at £179 per night, yet it overlooked the roof at the side. The cistern in the bathroom wasn't filling up and they were unable to fix it, so gave us our room free as hotel full.
