As a young couple the option of eating in the hotel was very poor in fact we didn't even eat in the hotel as nothing on the menu was appealing to either of us such as all seafood options! Therefore we ate out in town which for a long stay wouldnt have had much variety. Even the breakfast was a huge disappointment!!

Our stay at Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa was the perfect location for the rest and relaxation that my partner and I deserved. Situated overlooking Loch Fyne and the stunning surrounding scenery added to the enjoyment of the stay. The choice of foods available were of a very high standard. Full advantage taken of the health spa. Need a longer stay next time to incorporate a therapy session ( massage or hot stones). Difficult to leave such an idyllic place. Our room was missed by housekeeping. Clean bale of towels and additional tea/coffee left outside, but room not cleaned. May have been confusion over my return to my room to collect my swimsuit.

Lovely location, public areas very comfortable, nook by front door with open fire and leather chairs a favourite spot. The pool is lovely, very clean, fab views, unfortunately the outside jacuzzi was closed when we visited. Staff were courteous at all times. A couple of our meals were a little cold and the wait between courses sometimes long. We were on a set menu, the choices were limited but nice and you do have an option to have a la carte courses at a supplement but the menu repeated after the third day. Our room overlooked the bin sheds and we had an early call from the sound of the laundry truck loading/unloading at 7am near our room. If I were to visit again I would ask for reassurance we would not be near here, The hotel was surprisingly full for early march so dont assume you can ask for a move.

Generally the hotel caters for all. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The hotel is well situated for travelling around the area sightseeing. The welcome pack needs to be updated to reflect changes to what is included with the holiday package. The complimentary biscuits in the bedroom have been stopped, but not according to the welcome leaflet in the room. Shortbread was supplied (free) when asked for, but made to feel that it was an "extra".

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location by the loch. The room was a decent size and the leisure facilities were of a good standard. Very tasty breakfast with a varied selection and the dinner we had in the restaurant was delicious and not too expensive by hotel standards. I would definitely go back.

Having stayed here previously and recommending to family and friends it was nice to see the high standards were still being achieved.especially in relation to food, facilities and service. Room toiletries were not replenished daily and I raised this with reception who it must be said rectified almost immediately

The communal areas in the hotel such as the lounge were lovely as was the swimming pool and spa.fantastic location right opposite the loch. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and obliging.Rooms warm and comfortable. The decor and furniture in the rooms was a little tired. The bathroom was adequate but the hot water at the wash basin took ages to become hot. The bed we had was a small double and the mattress was too hard for our preference. In all though these were minor things and I would stay at loch fyne again.

Very friendly staff, especially those in dining room. The food was beyond excellent. Well presented and each course was full of flavour. Extensive breakfast menu. We had a Groupon voucher given to us as a gift and will certainly look for future offers on Groupon. Our trouser press did not work! Lighting in our room very poor which made reading difficult.

We like the hotel very much, the staff are very helpful and the food excellent. We like the fact that the spa and swimming pool are available to enjoy if the weather is not good.

What a beautiful, peaceful hotel - the setting just lovely. Rooms spacious, clean and comfy. Hotel very tastefully decorated throughout Evening meal was cooked and served to perfection. Staff polite and courteous at all times If you want a view pay for one of the superior rooms. Slight language difficulties with waiters but they were very apologetic about it.

The food was excellent The person who checked us in on arrival was not friendly or welcoming, and my first impression of the rooms was somewhat gloomy. However the excellent restaurant food more than compensated for this, and in fairness I must say that on the following morning the staff were friendly and very helpful in giving advice and road directions

Room was clean and comfortable Had one meal. Stood at bar for 10mins before being acknowledged dispite seeing sveral staff looking over during this time. Order soup and mussels. Soup arrived without bread. Waited 2 mins before barman noticed and brought some over. Mussels arrived without bread or cutlery. Waited about 5 mins before barman noticed and brought the missing bread and cutlery over (I should say that barman was not at fault but did well to rescue the situationa nd apologised).

The price offered was attractive and was a factor in making my decision. The dining room experience was by far the best in the hotel. The staff in the dining room were excellent, very professional, very efficient and very friendly. the food was excellent. Only comment I would make here is that the hotel furnishings are looking a bit "tired" - occasional tables marked, scratched, and just a general refurb is required.

Lochside location perfect. Within easy walk of town. Room a bit dated and could have been cleaner. Over priced for a weekend stay.
