Location excellent for loch ness, rooms overlooking the loch. Staff very helpful. Rooms were small and dated, bed uncomfortable. Very close to road so traffic noise an issue. Ours was one of the cheaper rooms, the more expensive rooms looked better. |

Food was excellent! Room was lovely! Very Clean! View was great! Walls are paper thin, could hear the music from the bar quit clearly and could hear what the people in the room next door but one were saying very clearly. Would have been a perfect stay other than that |

We enjoyed the location the food was excellent loved the gift shop and the cleanliness of the hotel thought the decor was beautiful and was pleasantly suprised with our room because we thought we were getting a woodland view but had a marvellous view of the loch with a balcony excellent value for money as we had payed a discount price on -line would definately return and recommend it. |

The rooms were small but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Was not overly impressed with the dinner, thought that it wasn't good quality food and the staff weren't very good in the resturant. |

The Clansman has a fantastic view of Loch Ness. The breakfast is superb sets you up for the day ahead and the fabulous dining experience with generous portions. As the Clansman is directly on the A82 there was no capacity for after dinner/evening walks, too dangerous. A vehicle is definately required. |

Staff provided a friendly efficient service. The location was ideal, near Inverness yet in open countryside. A great stop off place on the way to the Isle of Skye. |

the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size for 3 people. The location for lochness was great as we caught a lake cruise from out the front of the hotel. The breakfast was great. |

The view of the Loch from your bedroom window was excellent. The food was of a very good standard, although the portions were rather on the large side. It was unusual to have the large souvenir shop attached to the hotel, but this was obviously catering for the coach parties staying at the hotel. |

The live music that was playing in the bar made our weekend. The bar staff was also friendly and inviting. The bedrooms and showers were smaller then expected, but not unreasonable. |

Lovely restaurant with helpful staff who did their best to seat us when the restaurant was fully booked. Family room was very small and cramped with no view. Very basic facilities for the price. |

The restaurant food was excellent and service was good. We stayed in 3 hotels during our time in Scotland and this was the most disappointing - it was also the most expensive. We paid for a view of Loch Ness which was lovely but a very busy road ran in front of the hotel and the noise from this meant that we had to have the windows shut on a very warm night. The car park was also very busy with a steady stream of coaches throughout the day. It is advisable to wait until after 4pm to check in as the car park is less busy. Unfortunately I think this hotel sits back on it's reputation of overlooking the Loch and this is what you pay for. Personally for us this was an overpriced, overated and far too commercial hotel. |
