Lovely from start to finish. Lyn and Tom were fantastic hosts, with great local knowledge. They clearly put a lot of thought and care into what they do. The location and views were amazing and the room was wonderful and really cosy. The bed was they best I have ever slept in! Everything about the decoration was first rate, making it the perfect setting. On our arrival we had sandwiches and warm scones with clotted cream and jam - a lovely touch. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and we had cake and chocolates waiting for us when we returned on the Saturday evening too! First class in every way and an absolute must if staying in the area.
There is not a thing we would have changed and we could have wanted for nothing more.
Great location for attractions of Loch Ness and near good restaurants. Very friendly and kind owners who provided information and answers to our questions. Scottish breakfast was great
Internet a bit slow, however when in this area, there're many other things to see and do
Such delightful hosts and provision of the little extras really appreciated. We have not come across such good service in any other B&B across the UK.
Room a little bit tight for travellers' suitcases
Everything, Tom and Lyn, marvellous couple, great room (king's room), great views, great location... 10/10
I really liked how friendly the owners are. The room was a bit tight, however i did book the queen room thinking i was getting the king room (my mistake). If i were to go again i would definitly book the king room as it is much larger and has a free standing modern bathtub. The queen room only has a shower. Otherwise the place was great! Also nice touch bringing a small tea service to our room when we got there. Thank you!
The facilities, location, service, food and information given were literally perfect. The B&B had a very comfortable homely atmosphere with the owners happy to help with anything. The places of interest that were suggested to us were excellent and I couldn't have asked for more. Pure luxury!
The wi-fi was there so I'm not complaining but it was very slow but I don't know if that was just due to the location. No other bad points!
Breakfast was excellent and every detail was luxurious. It was one of the best breakfasts on our four week trip. The location was very private and removed from any busy village or town, with great views of the loch. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming, even providing snacks upon arrival. There was free parking close by the room, which was very convenient for handling luggage in and out of the accomodation.
The room was a bit small, but this is not a major drawback.
Comfortable room lovely welcome birds in the garden were spell binding overall a lovely place to take a break
Having to leave
Ambiance, hospitality, design, breakfast, location, we loved our stay very much !
Very Good hosts, beautiful touches added to the room. Very friendly, and helpful
Decor, location, friendliness and superb food
Tom and Lyn have got everything right in this lovely B&B. They really are friendly and attentive hosts, very happy to offer suggestions and recommendations. Our room was large and beautifully furnished, with a sleigh bed we struggled to get out of each morning as it's the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The breakfasts were delicious - wonderful kippers and smoked salmon. We came back each day to fresh cakes or biscuits too, very welcome after a long walk! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.
On arrival a lovely tray of sandwiches and scones which was great after a long drive, the welcoming from Lynn and Tom was warm and friendly superb breakfast great bed comfortable and fantastic location.
Efficiently run, very hospitable and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfasts served overlooking Loch Ness.Very comfortable accommodation
The owners of the B&B were a lovely couple and couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms were immaculate and more in line with what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was traditional and well prepared with the added bonus of a glass of Buck's fizz for my Girlfriends birthday! Would highly recommend.
Dramatic view over Loch Ness, with possibility to take a dip with Nessie just over the road. Lovely environment bothrespecting the roominterior and the environment. The owners made all for as to feel comfort.
A bit outside the restaurant area, but with help of a taxi the dining was no problem if you wanted to taste the fruits of the whiskylandscape.
The variety of the menu, the cleanliness of the place. The genial courtesy of both our hosts. The quietness, the sound sleeps. The view over the loch.
All good. No complaints
The proprietors, Lynn and Tom, determined to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are beautyful and comfortable. The swim in the loch, refreshing but bring flip-flops.
a couple of miles from the closest restaurant but Lynn and Tom will help you order taxi
Owners were super nice - we were delay at airport by 2 hours and Tom waited up for us and helped us on arrival - the room was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean and comfortable - wish we had more time
Lovely room and bathroom with a nice view of Loch Ness. Nice breakfast Good location right on the Loch, just a short drive to Fort Augustus.
A beautiful situated place right on the Loch Ness. The personal and friendly atmosphere added to the experience of being truly welcome. Lyn's delicious treats on arrival were heavenly and the bed made us feel royal. Beakfast was a pure treat as was the view from the room as well as the breakfast room overlooking Tom´s beatiful and well kept garden down towards the Loch. Pure joy!
That we only stayed one night!
Every single detail shows effort been made by owner. The owner,Tom is extremely friendly. Room is excellent! We do love it. Anything you need has been considered. The room can easily beat 5 star hotel, for sure
Very warm welcome from lovely hosts. Good breakfast. The 'nibbles' provided on arrival were delicious and a luxurious extra touch.
First class - and greeted by a very tasty afternoon tea when we arrived.
The owners Lyn and Tom are really kind. The place is lovely with many details. Very well located. Spectacular in general terms.
