The house continuously smelled from cooking and was not ventilated The house is located on a busy main road
The owner is a former chef and creates excellent cupcakes and breakfast. He also helps with hiking tours. And shares his DVD collection with visitors.
the welcome, scrumptious scones the room, so comfy bed and lovely en suite great breakfast easy parking its the easiest B&B in the world to find! although its on a main road we slept like logs
Matthew and Diane were very welcoming and had great knowledge of the area. Set at the head of Loch Earn, they enjoy a beautiful location. They also know members of the McLaren clan, my family's clan, and were able to set up a meeting for us. The house was spacious and comfortable.
We could hear a little bit of road noise, just from trucks at night. The nice attributes of everything else more than made up for it though.
Scenic location near to lochs and national park. Large modern ensuite and heated towel dryer. Standard double bedroom was roomy. Host is a chef by trade and offers different breakfasts as well as the standard Scotish cooked breakfast. One resturant and one pub within walking distance.
Firm mattress aggravated an old back problem. Located away from other facilities and towns.
The very spacious bedroom and bathroom with everything that one needs. Excellent breakfast with treats and specials by the owner and Master Chef.
Shame the Wi-Fi did not work in our room. OK in the lounge.
The warm welcome with fresh baked fruit cake, the excellent breakfast including home made scones and fruit buns, the beautiful beautiful embroideries that adorn the walls, in fact everything.
Warm welcome and cake brought to room just after arrival. Very friendly couple and excellent breakfast(with menu).Bedroom was large with a dressing room and very good sized bathroom.Hope to stay there again.
Friendly host with helpful suggestions for day trips. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good range of free DVDs for use in the room.
Room was a little small, and was not well sound proofed from next room.
Matthew was a wonderful host. The room was quiet and looked out over a lovely steep garden. Matthew called ahead for us to get a table at Lochearn Hotel for dinner where the food was excellent. We had the breakfast special, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, a nice break from the full Scottish breakfast.
Excellent clean and modern standard, A top quality B&B
Wonderfully friendly hosts Location Very Clean Scottish Breakfast Homemade cakes, jams etc Storage of bikes Lounge
The breakfast was fabulous! Matthew and Dianne are very welcoming and friendly hosts. The room was comfortable and the bathroom very big with a great shower.
Our room was facing the main road and there was no escape from the traffic noise.
* great hospitality * great food * ideal location and knowledgable owners
The Wifi could have been faster/stronger, but that was not an essential factor for us, but might be if you needed it for business.
Large comfy room and excellent breakfast
It was one of our best experiences in Scotland, with very friendly atmosphere, great hosts and perfect rooms. Congratulations to the owners! We highly recommend it.
Fantastic hosts, Matt and Diane were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable clean room. Food was lovely with fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank You both.
Great location, friendly people, awesome breakfast.
We were warmly welcomed by Matthew on arrival, after settling in Matthew brought up home made cake which was lovely with a cup of tea. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and shower plus a small separate room which came in very handy. Cooked Breakfast on both mornings was delicious, plus cereals, yoghurt and fruit, also as an extra homemade scones and sweet buns. Both Matthew and Dianne were very helpful with where to dine and sightsee. We would recommend B & B .
We found this a most comfortable, welcoming and clean place to stay. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the host's home baking. Would highly recommend and hope to return there.
The turn in to the house was a bit awkward from the north but this was overshadowed by the many other excellent features.
Beautiful location, freindly and personable staff, good breakfast
The welcome, view from room, scones on arrival, breakfast. Also the host was genuinely interested in our plans for walking a circular route of Rob Roy Way.
lovely warm welcome and a homely feel. The room was very spacious.
sharing the only breakfast table with the other guests, but this is just a small thing.
Breakfasts were excellent and the proprietors were welcoming and helpful. The location of Lochearnhead House was ideal for visiting central Scotland.
The location is convenient for travel around central Scotland. The host and hostess were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are good restaurants nearby to suit different tastes.
A little more parking room would have been useful. Or perhaps if the available space was marked out, it may have been more efficiently used.
