Lochend Serviced Apartments  

Very spacious and fully equipped.

The shower of the guest toilet did not work. No interesting places to visit in the vicinity.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the apartment was very comfortable.

It was rather a long way from Waverley station but we knew that when we booked.

clean well appointed apartment. Easy access to public transport to city centre and Ocean Terminal.

No extractor fans in the bathrooms. Could do with blackout blinds in the bedrooms as early morning sun woke us up.

Plenty of space. Good facilities. On bus routes.

No freezer. Bed too short for 1.9m male!

Beds very hard and a lack of cooking equipment and utensils.

It was exceptionally clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again if it was a duration of 2 or more nights.

Dissappointed it wasn't ready when we arrived about 6 in the evening. A little too far from the center of Edinburgh for a one night stay.

The apartment was clean and well appointed for a weekend away. It was nice to have a kitchen and lounge so we could relax in a group.

They tried taking money of my credit card before I got there without speaking to me.

Like home from home, so easy to find and a very comfortable stay, will definitely use again.

Absolutely fantastic apartments - nothing can be faulted - have not stayed at a hotel again in Edinburgh since I discovered these apartments and would highly recomment to anyone staying Sundays-Thursdays though have not stayed at a weekend so cannot comment on that...yet!!!

mmmh.shame a group of v.noisy guests arrived back about 2am.they happy but noisy,i switched room to my younger sons room!

After using hotel accom for 10 days, it was great to stretch out in an apartment, cook Own meals and do laundry. Checking and all other aspects were smooth

We could smell decorum and aftershave etc on all top quilts as though they hadn't been change. As There was no top sheet, as is the practice in all accom we have stayed in we felt the hygiene was compromised. It was as if the quilt cover was not changed! Hole in ensure door. A new fry pan as the current non stick is worn

Clean, modern apartments with good parking facilities. Easy to locate with most of what you need at hand.

Site says 1 miles from city's centre yet it cost £9 in a taxi and seemed a lot further that one mile. Certainly couldn't have walked in.

We liked everything, highly recommend to others. l lived at 4/F, and there is a lift. The street view is good.

Bed was two twins put together so middle was uncomfortable and one side was slightly higher than the other

Kitchen was equipped quite well. Location was convenient. Apartment was warm.

Poor finish. Old, uncomfortable beds and sofas. Strong smell of smoke in apartment. Cheap bed linen and finish throughout. Not luxurious at all

Good facilites e.g. Kitchen for cooking. Car park is adequate and easy to access, though I need to pay more.
