The rooms were comfortable and clean - the food mostly good. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere (mostly) relaxed. We were overcharged on one night's dinner - it was corrected, but with bad grace. We also witnessed a member of staff being told off in a bullying and threatening manner - not good practice! |

Quiet and relaxing location. Wine list was very expensive, with both red and white wines starting at £19. Two glasses of white cost £13.50. |

Lovely room, good choice of breakfast. Room service also good and prices reasonable No pool table or table tennis for guests to enjoy esp as the weather was brutal for outdoor activities. Dining room prices were a bit on the high side for a young couple. |

The location (and facilities) of the hotel are just perfect. We have had a wonderful stay (unfortunately only one night) at your hotel. Also the swimming pool gave a special touch to our stay, specially to our two sons (17 and 15 years). They (and we) enjoyed also the delicious meals served in the restaurant. |

Views from Loch-side rooms were excellent and our room was spaceous. Lifts were available to higher floors. Atmosphere of general location is a good taser of Scottish higland life. Swimming pool is outside main hotel building and, during our stay, was not particularly clean (green discolouration on pool tiles and an unusual amount of hairs caught in our toes whilst swimming). Meals are ok but nearly £5 for a single piece of flapjack as room service desert is obscene. It's in a glorious location but the hotel is showing signs of neglect. By no means a 'quality' MacDonald. |
