Score from 746 reviews Very good
Very poor quality, small beds. Continental quilt was not in good condition, huge lumps in some parts, no padding on others. Like a partly quilted sheet.
We both absolutely loved the room
Stayed for 1 night whilst away on business. Room was great-power shower excellent; free wifi. All mid cons in room. Comfy bed. Only complaint was noise at 5am from group on our floor. Reported to reception. They did come up and ask them to be quiet but it continued until we got up at 7.30am
Location room size and quietness despite being near the motorway
No dedicated reception area in the lodge, fire alarm went off in my room at 6am for a couple of minutes which disturbed me and lack of staff present within the lodge itself
Good service. Excellent breakfast at Starbucks
Our room was at the back looking over the park and was very peaceful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The shower was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and very close to the M5 and Cribbs Causeway. We had breakfast in the Starbucks next door. The rooms were very reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend it.
Convienient, friendly helpful staff, clean, good food in bar
Sofa bed was bit uncomfortable... But hey it was only 1 night & everything else was great
Great reception and welcome from lovely team members Lovely contemporary room with fab shower and modern decor Very comfortable room and would stay again
Breakfast not included for price
Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff.
Very busy and short of staff in the restaurant so had to wait 1 hour 20 min for food. Also food quite expensive.
The restaraunt at the sister hotel over the rod was excellent
The check in process
Wifi is good and hotel is cheap
The hotel is out of the way no shops close by there is no restaurant at hotel only a Starbucks coffee sandwiches etc the hotel over road has a restaurant which serves massively overpriced average food in small portions
This hotel was perfect for my needs: close to work, very comfortable, very large room, friendly and helpful staff. There is also a possibility of using additional facilities of their nearby sister hotel (with a fee, of course), so that's a plus too
Breakfast is limited to the menu offeren by the in-house Starbucks, not a very diverse choice on the dinner menu either (although the food itself is very tasty).
The mattress was not in a acceptable condition.
Just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night while visiting my son while in Bristol, warm welcome by staff, nice clean modern room, excellent for a family room. A little noisy from the corridors when people returning to there rooms. Good value.
Everything. Staff facilities cleanliness .
I liked the location and ease to park and the staff did try to address any issue. My room had some poor maintenance problems but the staff kindly looked into them and offered a token of goodwill but to be honest they maybe could of done more. Hopefully my next experience will be nicer.
The rooms should be inspected regularly to the finest detail to ensure everything is working, clean and functional this was not done in my experience but my overall view is they did try to address things.
good size bedroom with good shower and facilities in room
breakfast is only available in the Costa coffee and there is limited choice.
Food at main hotel not very good and exoensive
Shower. close to the venue we used. Clean. Nice room.
Staff were indifferent. Reception was in star bucks! No breakfast. No facilities.
Nice rooms. Well equipped for solo traveller
Bed too small for too and glass bathroom door does not offer enough privacy. Fine on your own not as a couple.
Clean and spacious room. Free parking at the weekend. Very nice staff- they went out of their way to help us.
Location good and very useful access to motorway etc. Cleanliness good.
Doors kept banging through the night and this kept me awake. Wardrobe and drawer spaces were filled with spare bedding and pillows so no room to put clothes away. Amount of wardrobe and drawer space pretty poor anyway. Pricey for what was on offer. Offer of a discount for use of spa and gym facilities was still expensive just for one night's use. Did not provide VAT receipt at time of payment so will have to contact them to get the receipt retrospectively.
Lovely Rooms and very clean and tidy, very quick easy access just off M5 but quite a long taxi journey into the centre of Bristol.
Food is very limited and if you cross the road to the Aztec hotel/spa like the staff recommended then you should re-mortgage your house ( 2x fish and chips + mushy peas, 1 pint Fosters, 1 small pinot grigio £37........
The bedroom was large had everything you possible could need. Large bathroom was super. Room Linen clean. Did not use tv. but wifi quick. Girls were very very helpful
having to go through bar to book in and out. Was quite noisy and full. Did not stop for breakfast as was no were to sit only out side
Good quality, clean, spacious, modern accommodation. Excellent value for money.
Arrived at hotel at 5.30 pm on a Saturday evening, ready for something to eat. Unfortunately the Starbucks cafe, which runs in conjunction with the hotel, said they only supplied menu options on weekdays and had run out of savoury food other than cakes! Not even a sandwich. Disappointed, but must add they were apologetic and polite and suggested an adjoining hotel.
