It was a very spacious lodge and extremely comfortable and had stunning views from the lounge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Our heating went off on our first night but after a phone call a man came round and managed to sort it out.
Everything from the van to teh site and its dedicated staff
I took my terminally ill husband for one last trip to the loch as he loved the whole area, it was a lovely time, the site accommodation and staff were 1st class and he loved it .Sadly 2 weeks after returning he passed away but I will return sometime in the future
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable, quiet, warm lodge with excellent facilities. We have two small dogs and the nearby Balloch Country Park is doggie heaven, miles of mown grass for runs and play, beautiful woods with flowing stream and a great view of Loch Lomond and the surrounding hills.
Only fair, but free Wi Fi.
The size of the caravan was great, the bathroom was huge with a shower and a bath available.
Unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to use the oven. This was both a gas and electric oven and we tried every way possible to get the oven to work, ended up having to use the grill to cook food through.
nothing not to like
Excellent spot, love this area
It would be nice to have a club room .
I enjoyed the quit and no one bothering you.
Clean facilities and the park well kept.
From when we first arrived we had a warm welcome, our log cabin was immaculate ,very spacious & well equipped, loved the two bathrooms very useful as there were 5 adults so no waiting for the shower , lovely location , would love to visit again
There was nothing negative i can say
The lodge was spacious and very clean. We have 3 kids age 9, 7 and 2 and also had my aunt and uncle with us. The 4 bed lodge gave us plenty of room and the door that separated the living area from the bedrooms made it quiet for the kids to sleep. Wonderful place to stay and was sad to leave. Close to shops and excellent playground for the kids to burn some energy :)
Our 2 bedroom unit was great for the 2 of us, although it is suitable for a family with two young children. The park is well set out, very neat and clean. Good spaced areas for privacy. Just a few minutes walk to Balloch for, cafes, restaurants and bars, and Loch Lomond. Balloch train station nearby for day trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Lack of internet and wi fi facilities. As we were on holiday from Australia it is important for keeping in touch with home.
quite location and pleasant place, not too far from the loch lomond lake.
The staff did not clarify that the place self catering and it should be cleaned and leave it as is when first handed. A deposit of 150 pound were deducted for the cleaning of the place.
It was lovely and quiet with good distance separation between the caravans. The caravan was very clean and had everything you would need for self catering and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Perhaps not the best place to stay if you don't have transport...
Close to all amenities the park was kept in tip top condition landscaping cleanliness of holiday homes bedding towels
Excellent holiday park, lovely caravans. Brilliant location for getting to Glasgow with the train station so close.
That we didn't stay longer!
The space the cabin gave us. The kitchen was well equiped. There were 2 bathrooms and toilets.
My matress was old and lumpy. It should have been replaced long ago. I reported this but no action taken. We had travelled extensively and had not had a problem anywhere else like this. The balcony was unstable and one of the chairs were rickety. Reported. Action taken on both these issues
Great location, lodges are very comfortable, the park has a wonderful atmosphere, very peacpeaceful, staff were very welcoming
Playground facilities for under 3s needed some repair, I believe this has been fixed now
I like where the park where it is situated balloch is a nice place friendly people things to do and see close by
Thought that the twin rooms in the caravans are to smallforadults I had two disabled adults wiht me in a 6birth caravan coudnt get room in the rooms with 2 single beds apart from that they were good I havestayed in a lodge and would rather stay in a lodge more room I thought for what we got it was expensive
Loved the surroundings. The peace and quiet.
Just not enough for the kids a few more games on site. Nothing like machines etc. Good old fashioned family games that are on hand or can be hired.
Environment, very clean and large caravan.
Terrible traffic noise from 6.00 am till 8.00 pm (camping is situated in the corner of the roundabout) between the main roads A82 (Glasgow to the north) and A811. Bad spring mattrasses (iron comes through the stuffing).
Good location close to shops and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk sea life centre and bird of prey centre also with 10 minute walk
Some road noise as situated close to busy road mainly motorcycles Although caravan very clean the lino would benefit from being mopped and get rid of the toilet brushes these are the most disgusting thing invented and don't know why hotels and caravans have them not nice when your 19 month old son has got hold of it and it has faeces on it
Fantastic location couldn't be better as we were not driving. Balloch is a nice village and good boat trips can be taken from there.
It was unclear what time reception is open / closed
The site is lovely, clean, and tidy.staff very friendly and vary helpful. Fourth time been and not disappointed once
Good location, not far from Loch Lomond and balloch castle.
The bed in the caravan was really un comfy.
