Ingrid the receptionist was absolutely adorable. She arranged the best way for us to travel back to the airport (we had an early flight) and she was really helpful and kind. The Brewers Fayre restaurant within the hotel offers great dishes at very reasonable prices. Wifi was free.
The bed was not as comfortable as in other hotels of the same chain and there was quite a lot of noise of the people on the second floor so not such a good insulation.
staff friendly and helpfull. Breakfast good.
We had what was I think a room more suited to someone with physical restrictions. The downstairs room meant I could hear lots of sounds overhead which affected my ability to get to sleep.
The location was brilliant for ExCel Centre. It is very, very close to the DLR - about 100yds.
The shower was over the bath, and the bath was a trendy, curvy shape which minimised the standing room - a definite Health and Safety Issue. No matter what you set the Air Con to, it came on at too high a temperature at about 5am. Each time I complained I was told they would sort it, until the morning I checked out when I was told there was nothing they can do as it is an automatic system! So not only an uncomfortable stay, but also I was lied to regularly. Although the restaurant is not run by Premier, but by Brewers Fayre, it was absolute rubbish - overcooked food, slow service, and no apology when I complained. It doesn't do Premier Inns any favours to be associated with this bunch of know-nothings.
Room, location, bar, barfood.
free secure car parking good food brewers fayre eatery on site easy access to the docklands light railway & bus service peaceful /relaxed atmosphere
what`s not to like!!!!
Only short drive to City Airport, (the reason for booking as niece needed to catch a 0710 flight!). Impressed by the 'quiet zone' signs in the accommodation.
A little difficult to find when arriving by car as I didnt see a Premier Inn sign from the main road, only the Brewers Fayre, so overshot and had to come back. Only noticed your sign when turning into the side road. The noise insulation on our room fronting on the main road could do with improving.
Guy on reception when we arrived was very welcoming.
Room smelt of damp and very noisy, we could hear the tv from the room above us.
Pay for wifi
Close to train station Clean, friendly staff, the room was very hot
There was no service to be phone connected to our room through the reception. Plates and glasses at breakfast, weren't very clean all five days during our stay.
silent place, very nice and helpful persons at reception, Great food
Location was excellent and the pub attached to the hotel has good food at excellent prices and asda across the road is handy if you've forgotten anything.
Wifi isn't free.
Liked the location
No heating working in the room. Could not hear the television. Vending machine broken. Dinner with the buffet style was cold. Had to keep waiting for hot food to be brought out, in the meantime what was already on our plate got cold
The dlr station the brewers fayre adjoining to be honest ddefinitely stay here again we used this premier inn because we was going to watch the football but I would definitely use this hotel again even if I was just visiting London
Breakfast wasn't managed by the staff in the correct manor waiting for food to be cooked and put out had to wait for clean glasses and fresh juice more staff needed for it to run effectively
The hotel is very close to Beckton DLR Station. The bed is confortable. The team is very attemptively and gently.
In The exhaust fan on the bathroom ceiling always been dropping water. The hotel team tried to repair, but it seems to be a builting fault.
Staff friendly, helpful. Room and bed comfortable, big tv, good light for working. Felt safe. Close to the station and other shopping facilities. The attached restaurant offers at least some healthy foods at reasonable prices.
Not enough soundproofing from the road early in the morning and people ignoring quiet time in the corridors at 5am.
We liked the location & access. All staff were very engaging & obliging
Brewers Fayre offering very tired. Bed was lumpy.
Convenient location for travelling to the O2 by car the next day. Ample free parking and average pub restaurant on site. Room was a decent size with clean bathroom. Good value for money- better than staying closer to the city.
Heating was on too high and we couldn't change it, so sleeping was intermittent and a little uncomfortable. Unreasonable wifi charges- should be free in all hotels nowadays!
Shower poor Bed hard Tables in the eating area not clean
Children complained over the poor 3rd bed being uncomfortable
The staff was very helpful and always in good spirit. The room was well equipped.
The bed was not comfortable. I really think it could do with a better mattress.
We loved the friendly and helpful staff. They answered all of our very many queries courteously and promptly. Food was good. No long queues. Rooms were quite and clean and essentially this was the ideal hotel for us and we'll be back again. The location is a little too far out of the centre of London - about 30 mins and two tube changes - but that's not a fault of the hotel, which we thought was near perfect. Many many thanks!!
fantastic breakfast Very comfortable beds
Staff in this brewers Fayre where rude! Unapproachable and extremely arrogant I did make a complaint but nothing ! The way a member of staff spoke to me was appalling just because I asked for a plate I would stay at hotel again but wouldn't step foot back in they're to eat
The restaurant did nice food only good thing about it and asda was near and near arena .
Too much noise at morning and night. No late bar . staff member had no English when I was speaking to her. Wasn't the best location
