The rooms did not ever look or smell clean
As I've said before. It's like being back in barracks with less consideration to others. On the three visits I made I noticed the lower showers would always be out of order on a Sunday night when there were less people staying. Is this a plot for less cleaning?
Better pillows would be nice.
there are dead air and noisy in the rooms. the facilities are always occupied. don't like it.
Not much really.
To be honest it's just like being back in barracks.
Nothing, poor service
Over charged and no 'as described' conditions
It is near the town center.
London Bridge Journeys Hostel blocked amount of money in my VISA Debit Card, it should be for failed reservation, but my reservation isn't fail, becous we pay in cash in the hostel. London Bridje Journeys Hostel block money and said payment fortunately has not been realized as yet we paid cash on the spot. Now I have problems with my bank.
st maximum 2-3 beds (9 people).
But too many bed in one room room 102 first floor..at least maximum 2-3 beds (9 people).but had 5 bed (15 people). Not good hygiene.
It is good for its price!
The wifi was really slow when it works. The location is a teeny bit far when looking for it at night. But is easy to find in the day.
Its the pub from the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Good Tube connections, if you know the tube that is. Guests were a laugh once you got to know them.
A bar that will not serve beer. Rude, lazy staff Damp smell. The cleaners were only keeping up appearances Some nasty locals around on the street outside
Location and cheapness, working 24h
Overcrowded room with bad odor, too noisy - you might hear all that happened in corridor, uncomfortable bathroom, without place for towel and cosmetic bags, socket and lamp near bad were not working.
Location close to a tube station Liked the fact they have a kitchen The privacy curtains
The wifi didn't work on my laptop and kept dropping on my phone. Didn't like that you had to pay a deposit to get cutlery/crockery for the kitchen
The price was acceptable but with increase in prices as the summer season approaches I'll be looking for cheaper places.
The pillow was wafer thin and if no use.
Problems with wi-fi on iPhone. Sometimes you need to reconnect 300 times to connect.
Close to the tube and 5 stations you re in Piccadilly. Most of the staff is really friendly
Rooms have a lot of people and most of them don't respect each other so you'll end up awaking in the middle of the night with noise in the room. Only one bathroom was working for around 40 people You have to pay 5£ a day to secure your belongings in the reception. Lot of people isn't there in vacations but for a living Most of the times the wireless didnt work
I like the location mainly as has many routes of access into and around london. the guests are nice and 2 member of staff are good. like also that has a kitchen so you can cook your own food also like that not too many hidden costs.
some of the staff are rude, some of the sockets in the rooms dont work. dont like that the downstairs is shut off so early in the evening and that the beverages are so expensive.
Breakfast very complete (coffee, milk, juice, cereal and bread).
No place to put shampoo in the showers. Toilets often durty and in bed conditions. Few toilets/showers for number of guests.
I do not care even if there is inconvenience little. Staff is the best. Really encouraging. The curtain of the bed is a great idea !
Staff attitude very poor No rules to stop loud snoring by a customer. One very loud snoring man will always stop others from sleeping. NO PEACE AND IT IS CHAOS IN A ROOM CONTAINING AN EVIL LOUD SNORING PERSON. DO SOME THING ABOUT THIS PLEASE.
Location is near the Walworth Rd. which connect to those important points by bus easily.
The bed is not stable so that I cannnot sleep well. The internet is always broken and they cannot make it more stable.
The pub inside is cheep
The only good thing about this hostel was the location. Very close to the underground Kennington, as well as at a bus stop.
Upon arrival you can directly notice an unpleasant smell. In the room itself there are 3-high beds with little space, electrical outlets did not work. The shower and toilet were very dirty. Unfortunately, not recommended!
Despite ringing up when booking and on request being told that the whole group of 10 of us could be in the same dorm it did not happen on arrival and the receptionist had no idea we had even rang! The night staff were extremely rude and when a couple of us returned to the dorm to find our pillows had been taken they put up a fight before coming to see and eventually giving us another pillow. As well as this, on the booking it said we would all have a personal lamp and socket, this again did not happen but in the dorm half of the group were in it did.
It was clear that you get for this money. In reality it was better I can imagine. I really like this place.
Beds have no personal shelf to put watch, book and so on. So take one more lock or piece of wire to attach plastic bag to your bad. It's the only thing I don't like.
The curtain of the bed is a really considerate design, even staying in a 15 people room doesn't feel so less privacy. The kitchen is kept clean by renting the tools from reception so no body can mess around.
I have met some rude people in the same room during my stay.
