Simple but clean room, in good maintainance, relatively new furniture, clean bathroom (depends on who is using it with you), good location, close to Borough Market, Tube and Bus Station beside the hotel. Banging doors!!!! |

Immaculately clean and very comfortable at a great price. I'm always reluctant to stay in cheap London hotels as they tend to be unclean and falling apart a bit so I was incredibly impressed with London City Hotel and would certainly recommend it. |

I needed a hotel in The Borough and that's where it is. Very outdated, shower did not work, no internet, too basic |

The location is good. The facilities were old. Also, it was hard to find parking place near the hotel. I'd like to pay money for other hotels. |

Great hotel, exceptionally clean, no restaurant or bar, but central to everything, so no need. Great for concert goers. Room was quite hot, but with the window open during the night it was no problem. |

Excellent location close to tube. Good room with very clean facilities. Welcoming staff on arrival. The doors bang very loudly because of the automatic closers on them . This meant I was frequently wakened by doors banging. I stayed on the top floor but this was a problem throughout. |

Friendly staff. Next to a metro station. Really a good value for the money. The stairs: there's not a lift and you need to carry your luggage at least at the first floor, where the reception is. |

Great little hotel; basic, but very clean & comfortable. (Excellent towels!!) Perfect for a weekend in London - tube station next door, train station five minutes walk & many attractions within walking distance. Reception staff very friendly & welcoming. |

Our weekend stay involved watching the London Marathon, the hotel was within walking distance to the Tower Bridge stage point,a supermarket, Borough Market and good eating places within 10 min. walk and a tube station next door was a real bonus. |

convenient location for sight seeing & right by Borough tube station. rooms very small, cheap fixtures & fittings. Good for a budget hotel but don't expect anything luxurious. |

The hotel is very close to the tube. Well, nowadays having an internet connection in the hotel is something that customers want.... |
