London Elizabeth Hotel

Mycket mysigt hotell med riktig gammal engelsk känsla , familjärt och trevligt. Nära till Hyde park och till shopping. Och en liten men mysig pub på hoteller där det var skönt att vila fötterna och ta en liten drink och personalen var hur trevlig som helst.

Inte illa men maten kan ju bli bättre med lite mer kryddor och kanske lite mer internatinell touch man kan ju faktiskt blanda engelsk och andra influenser : O )

Gulligt hotell, bra läge för kommunikationer, busshållplats till stan mitt utanför entrén och nära till t-bana, men en hel del trafik. Fint läge med utsikt mot Hyde Park, om man har fått rum mot det hållet förstås. Bra frukostbuffé.

Mycket trafik utanför. Ganska långsam service på frukosten, ibland för lång väntetid för att få bord på frukosten. Endast takdusch.

Hotellet var bra beläget med mysiga rum.

Trafiken kan vara störande om man har rum ut mot gatan.

It is better than the way it is presented on the Internet. It is a privately run, old fashioned style hotel in a brilliant location, opposite Kensington Gardens. I loved the Rose Terrace - such a surprise in the middle of London. Much better than the corporate monolith (Royal Lancaster) next door.

The hotel was full - and the restaurant was too small to cope with the breakfast volume on Sunday morning. We were stacked up in the adjacent lounge awaiting a table to come free

We were attending an event at Hyde park and the hotel was brilliantly situated for this. The room was spacious and clean, and very comfortable.

Some of the staff at the hotel appeared quite rude, we checked in during a busy period and felt the staff were maybe to busy to be polite, this would possibly put me off staying again, However when we came back at night the staff on reception were very friendly

There was a couple of memebers of staff on the front desk that were pleasant and helpfull. Good location for Hyde Park.

We booked a Double Delux room, however, when we got to our room there were two single beds. I went back to the reception to point out the error, only to be told 'We can push the beds together to make a king size'. As there were no other rooms available we had to stay in that room with the beds pushed together. The hotel needs money spent on it. Every part of the hotel we could see signs of neglect. Our room was very tired looking with cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, signs of damp and a balcony that looks like it has never been cleaned. Refurbishment desperately needed!!!

Very convenient for both Marylebone and Paddington Stations. We also found it so easy to go for a walk in Hyde Park which is just over the road.

Basement room with some damp walls in walk in wardrobe and only a view up to the street above. We did not expect a basement room. The bathroom was looking a bit worn out and the WC outlet was blocked. There was a Rat bait box just outside our window therefore we kept window shut all night

I was given a quiet room, non smoking, for which I was grateful. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful and made one feel at home, The food was good and the service prompt.

It was very clean and the decoration scheme pleasant and to my taste, but perhaps the room was coming up for refurbishment. It would have been nice to have a complimentary beverage facility in the room.
