Location There was no wifi available in the rooms. It would be ok if I had my computer with me but the iPad has no Internet cable connection. I also felt that the cost of the rooms sould have been inclusive of breakfast and Internet usage. Finally, when I booked on Booking.com I went onto check the Crowne Plaza direct website. Surprisingly they were cheaper per room per night than Booking.com and next time I will look around rather than thinking this website gives the best deal.

Thought that the room and facilities were lovely A bit far out of the city especially when the DLR was undergoing maintenance work. The view from the rooms at the back of the hotel was of a car park - I think this should be reflected in price.

The hotel was smart and modern with a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn't find time to use! The bed room was quite spacious with an adequate bathroom and nice shower with nice shower gel/shampoo etc. the gold star was the bed. It was possibly the best we have slept in and the pillows definitely the best we have ever had and we have traveled quite a bit. We liked the sleep pillow spray and roll on oil that was a very nice touch. We found the hotel reception, bar and restaurant areas cold and the heaters really made little difference to our comfort. On the Sunday morning we were disappointed that although there was Flora in the restaurant there was no butter for breakfast . We found this a bit bad in the 21st century, but the worst thing was that the hot food was very slow to be topped up and we along with others, had to stand around at the English breakfast bar for several minutes. There didn't seem to be anyone chasing up the chef! By the time we got back to the table with our meal the tea and toast were cold. Sorry but this really let the hotel down, in our opinion.

close to the O2 arena I paid a lot of money for a Superior King room and had a view of the car park from the bedroom window - room was also small - not what I would call a Superior King room

Very close to wtm. Perfect location if you need to go to the Exhibition Center. To be a 4 stars hotel I really would expect better front desk staff attitude, more customer oriented and experienced. Even if I paid a fortune for one night which is partially justified by the wtm I was really surprised and dis-appointed by the room they gave to me which had not a normal bathroom but one for dis-able in wheel chair with a smelly plastic floor with no cabin shower. I also found women hairs in the sink.

My wife says, it had a real heater. That's what I liked aboutt it. That's what she said. And it was close to the metro/tube. It was okay, nothing to brag about. What was interesting is that while waiting, seated near the bar/lounge that a mixed race couple came in for drinks, and ordered but the bartender told them that they were closed. It was still early by American terms, 10 pm or so. Interesting. Had to walk from Victoria station to Canning Town stations.

I enjoyed the warm swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym the most. The rooms were also lovely. The view of the abandoned car park was not too exciting! Shame it was not near more bars and restaurants etc.

Breakfast at £18.50 is ridiculous. For a central London hotel maybe, not at this location. Everyone was commenting on it, and it would affect booking this hotel in the future.

It is most convenient to attend the exhibition at ExCel London; just one minute walking. Hotel is also situated next to the dlr station. It is too far from the city center, especially Heathrow Airport. I took more than two hours from the hotel to Heathrow Airport in the evening of Sunday.

Location and price (though the rate I secured was via Booking.com and not the cp direct) I felt the food wasn't value for money and arrived a little cold which was disappointing as the restaurant was not busy.
