Crowne Plaza London - Docklands  

予約した値段にVATが20％含まれていたのに宿泊代の合計金額に更に20％のVATを上乗せされて請求さ- れた。予約時の証明書をプリントアウトしていたためそれを見せたが確認にかなり時間を要した。プリントアウ- トした紙を持っていなければさらに+20％のVATを払わなくてはいけなかった。フロントの対応に不満です- 。他の宿泊客もフロントでトラブルになっているのを見かけた。

The evening duty manager and some of the other staff where the service was the worst I have ever come across I will not be staying in another crown plazza hotel that's for sure rubbish

The hotel was smart and modern with a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn't find time to use! The bed room was quite spacious with an adequate bathroom and nice shower with nice shower gel/shampoo etc. the gold star was the bed. It was possibly the best we have slept in and the pillows definitely the best we have ever had and we have traveled quite a bit. We liked the sleep pillow spray and roll on oil that was a very nice touch.

We found the hotel reception, bar and restaurant areas cold and the heaters really made little difference to our comfort. On the Sunday morning we were disappointed that although there was Flora in the restaurant there was no butter for breakfast . We found this a bit bad in the 21st century, but the worst thing was that the hot food was very slow to be topped up and we along with others, had to stand around at the English breakfast bar for several minutes. There didn't seem to be anyone chasing up the chef! By the time we got back to the table with our meal the tea and toast were cold. Sorry but this really let the hotel down, in our opinion.

I paid a lot of money for a Superior King room and had a view of the car park from the bedroom window - room was also small - not what I would call a Superior King room

It was conveniently placed and had the facilities needed and was a reasonable price.

It was very convenient as the event I attended was at the excel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The gym was a bit small with no area to work free!

I enjoyed the warm swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym the most. The rooms were also lovely.

The view of the abandoned car park was not too exciting! Shame it was not near more bars and restaurants etc.

Breakfast at £18.50 is ridiculous. For a central London hotel maybe, not at this location. Everyone was commenting on it, and it would affect booking this hotel in the future.

Location is really in the middle of nowhere for tourists to London.But the reasonable price compensates foir this lousy location

I felt the food wasn't value for money and arrived a little cold which was disappointing as the restaurant was not busy.
