All that i rated it excellent for
There was nothing to dislike
Location was excellent. Comfy beds. Tea/coffee facilities.
TV remote didn't work. WIFI didn't work. No staff at hotel to ask for help on arrival. No shampoo provided! Room smelt very musty!
Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff enjoyed my stay!
No negative comment to make
only enough room for 1 person to stand up.
Early check in and leaving your luggage. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean rooms with fridge amd tea facilities. Nearby shops, tube and busses. Slept well in the bed. Clean towels. Iron service, tv and hairdryer, all is availeble. Just very good hotel for that low of a price.
I missed a tabledesk in our room to write on. Room was small for 4 person. For breakfast more choices would be nice to put on your bread, other then egg or jam.
Room could accommodate 4 adults. Good location.
Not enough floor space. Would rather do without a fridge in order to get more space. Basement room smelled musty & there appeared to be mould in the corners.
close to underground, quiet neighborhood, breakfast ok, fridge in the room, coffee and tea facilities in the room, a few shops nearby
very small room, very little space for clothes and luggage
Very good staff, excellent and efficient service and good variety at breakfast. Staff went out of their way to assist. Location is good and easily accessible on Tube or buses. Worth every penny spent
Room was exceptionally small for 4 people, bathroom door couldn't open properly against the double bed which was up against the wall on the other side. I had to crawl across the bed to get into bed!
I chose The Grove as it had good reviews and was close to Hammersmith underground station. The staff were friendly and have created a home from home environment.
The breakfast service was good. Some fruit would have been nice.
The room was very small for three people. The beds in our room made a very squeeze noice every time someone moved in their sleep.
Near the tube, nice neighbourhood, staff very helpful, clean and comfortable room, simple breakfast, free wifi!
Breakfast could be improved !
close to the tube, nice neighbourhood, clean and comfortable rooms, simple breakfast, free wifi,
minor issues only - squeaky beds, no Air Condition (not really necessary in the English climate), low water pressure (in the attic rooms)
Very small, loud, lodging not in the original place, had to move 2 times
Clean & quiet room; Very helpful reception staff who even allowed us early check-in, which was badly needed after a long overnight flight; I recommend this hotel without reservations
May improve a bit the cooking of breakfast
Location - Ease of access to local amenities, transport and places of interest.
- No meat included with continental breakfast. - Air-Con in room inadequate and noisy to be ran overnight if required. - Mould/Rising Damp discovered in room causing wallpaper to peel behind bed. - Water pressure inadequate, if the neighbouring rooms were using the shower we couldn't use shower or tap.
The room was basic and small but well located for the hammersmith Appollo. Definitely value for money.
The room was quite small for two people.
Easy access to tube, decent breakfast, price was good considering how expensive London is.
No air conditioning...lots of stairs with no staff to assist.
Room which could just fit the bed in - too small. Not close to value for money Camp bed Narrow stairs Could not cater for breakfast at times you wanted - too many people for small room. No idea where it got the 3 star rating or Hotel description from? Only fire escape on ground floor & we stayed on 3rd floor with only one stair way access.
It has a convenient location，and room is clean，as well as a high speed wifi! The host who cooks breakfast is very nice and u can leave ur luggage in the reception even u have checked out.
No body showering...only soap..and the temperature of the showering is a little bit unstable.
Had all the basics one needs for a reasonable price. Room quite comfortable, good shower, breakfast was good (2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, cereal, orange juice, tea).
Service wasn't great. Had to wait 20 mins for someone to return to reception for me to check in (although at least had no. on the door to call)
The "double room" had no space around the bed (it takes up more than half the floor space of the room), and there was only one bedside table, no air conditioning or fan (in the heat of summer), and the bedding was dirty (sweat-stained pillow covers and sheets). They provide only one small towel per guest, and the TV had no signal at all. Some of the plugs didn't work, and the hairdryer's filter was clogged with dust and hair. The bathroom fittings were broken and dirty. The "full continental breakfast" was a fried egg on toast, concentrated orange juice, weetabix or cornflakes, and instant coffee. The 'hotel manager' was hardly ever there, and even then spent his time watching YouTube and showed no real interest in helping guests. When we asked for a fan for our room, we were (after waiting 12 hours) given a dirty, grease-covered fan with broken buttons.
Located closely to underground station. Relatively easy access.
During my first stay I was moved to another hotel nearby (Golden Strand) without prior notice. The receptionist at London Grove was impolite when asked to correct the invoice. At Golden Stand the room was tiny and no elevator to 4th floor. During my second stay at London Grove the internet access was very very limited.
Good location with a lot of tube lines for central London near. Clean room and most of the staff was very friendly. Fridge in the room.
The room size was as expected but the furnitures made it very small.
small room size, not enough breakfast slots for residents, shower tap to sensitive from cold to hot
