Wish I'd stayed another night!

Close proximity to T5 Comfortable room but quite basic

Room was very hot. Tariff is very expensive.

Quiet. Comfy bed. Great shower. Wonderful stay overall.

This hotel is all about location - a three minute direct undercover walk into Terminal 5. Also clean, smart and comfortable.

I wanted to have the checkout in the same day that I checked in.. But they only gave the option to check out at 6 pm although I wanted to check out at 8 pm.. So I had to pay the full day rate (I stayed for 8 hours only)

That it is advertised as being adjacent to the airport, but there is no mention of the fact that the walk from my bedroom to t5 arrivals was at least 10 minutes. Hardly adjacent and for a disabled passenger (me) it was very, very tiring

All was nice

We only stayed one night as we were flying off the next morning from Heathrow Terminal 5. We found the room very comfortable and the staff helpful.

The staff were very attentive and helpful - everyone from room service, to front desk to concierge personnel. Excellent business service facilities. Very comfortable, clean and quiet rooms despite being an airport facility.

A bit pricey compared to similar properties at airports around the world. No free WIFI which, at this price, business travelers have come to expect.

Very nice hotel located at Heathrow. Excellent for that long layover.

As ever (I have stayed before), and not necessarily in this order: the design, architecture, atmosphere, staff, food, drink, comfort, service, covered pedestrian access to LHR-Terminal-5.

On this occasion, that the fire alarm went off randomly THREE times between 11.45pm and 12.15am, for no apparent reason. Reception staff said probably it was a guest smoking, or someone interfering with the fire alarm button, but management still had to investigate - haven't yet heard the reason. Some ladies who came down to Reception, in their nighties!, at midnight (including me) were EXTREMELY ANNOYED. Reception staff had no answers for us --- they should surely at least have known which zone in the Hotel this alarm (three times) was coming from? A totally disturbed night's sleep - one lady guest was flying to Chicago early the next morning and had stayed at the Sofitel-LHR precisely to get a good night's sleep, she told me !!! This said, this is the first time this has ever happened while I have been staying there - and, we all hope, won't be repeated (except, of course, in the event of a real fire). While recognising that Sofitel cannot 'vet' its guests in advance, nevertheless it is amazing that such silly people should be staying there who set off the fire alarms in the middle of the night !!
