On pur return trip, we arrived 30 minutes early and our prepaid room was not ready. We were offered a King bed and breakfast for an additional 70 pounds which we turned down because we had reserved twin beds for two seniors traveling together. Since we turned the offer down they made us wait until 2:00 to check in and gave us the king anyway. Then they were surprised that I expected them to switch the beds as singles instead of leaving them together.
We picked this hotel because it could be accessed via Terminal 5. The signs are hard to find and once you do, you still don't know what to do so you walk around in circles or take wrong automatic elevators. Be prepared to do a lot of walking, use an airport cart to push luggage or your back will let you know about it pnce your there. It took us 3 hours to get from landing gate to hotel room door. Easy access to the underground system, but since the terminals are 5 miles apart, it does take time.
Beds were very comfortable, but are on wheels so they don't stay in place very well. They need directions in rooms for finding iceachine as well as how to drain water from tub.
