Ik koos het hotel, omdat ik de volgende morgen om 07.00 uur moest inchecken op Terminal 5. Het is een luxe hotel, comfortabel en goed afgestemd op de wensen van reizigers. Wel vond ik de aanduiding hoe het Sofitel te vinden magertjes. |

Its proximity to terminal 5 was the best aspect and yet you did not here the airplanes. Extremely handy position. I did not like the fact that majority of the bedrooms face inwards into the hotel with windows facing each other. |

The hotel is very conveniently located being connected to Terminal 5. The staff is very professional and the hotel itself is spotless. I had a problem with my air conditioning in my room. Despite being set at 18 degrees the next morning it felt like 32 degrees in my room while the corridor was freezing cold. |

Perfect for an over night stay while transiting London, well connected to T5 saved dragging luggage in and out of London on the train Out of normal hours food options limited to the relatively expensive room service, not good when your jet lagged and have woken up at 3am needing to eat. |

Considering that the hotel is near the airport this was very calm Lack some view outside (had a room with view inside the hotel). Too cold in the hotel (air conditionned). Asked for some bath towel slippers and never go them... |

I like so many things about this hotel; How easy it was to find. When you come out of the lift from the car park below, you get a sense of relaxtion, culture and fantastic ambience. Everything is perfectly signed in the hotel, like restaurants, bars and the reception. There was a slight queue to check in when we arrived, however we barely stood still before a member of staff came to us and welcomed us, taking our name and informing the receptionist that we would like to check in. Check in was incredibly quick and easy and the receptionist was very professional. Our room was lovely and fautless, for the price I paid I was expecting alot less, however, I couldn't have hoped for more. It is so quiet in the room, seeing as when you step outside it is so noisy, not even people in the corridor can be herd. We dined in Brasserie Roux, the decor is beautiful and the food was delicious. I would recommened this hotel to anybody and I will certainly return. I hate to mention this but it did dampen our departure, when we went to leave the car park and pay at the machine the tariff quoted 40pounds for up to 24 hours (non residents) and 15 pounds for residents. I felt a bit cheated by this as we had spent alot of money in the hotel the night before and thought there could be more information on how to get resident rates via the machine. |

The hotel room has everything you need, and is very comfortable and quiet. The proximity to Heathrow Airport is the reason we booked the room, but the hotel is first class! The dining room closed at 10:30, which is early for travelers in Europe. |

I have to follow a special diet and the waitress in the Vivre restaurant was extremely helpful and brought me special gluten free rolls for my meal without my having to ask for them. OUTSTANDING. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, and the room was perfect - totally silent, airconditioning completely unnoticeable yet effective, altogether a very good experience indeed. The breakfast buffet in Vivre was too expensive at 20 sterling a head, especially for those of us who don't eat much at that time of day! |

The hotel staff and its facilities were outstanding, just as one would expect from its rating and reputation. We got a good price for the room via Booking.com. We ordered room service for breakfast as my husband was ill and we had an early flight. I expect room service to be expensive, but this was way over the top. A mediocre breakfast for two cost nearly as much as the room--with service charge and tip it was nearly $100. |
