i didn't like i had to give a £50 deposit, i thought that i got victimised have never had that problem in any other hotels, heater never worked and it was freezing cold in the room. won't be staying with them again
I like the executive lounge great for chilling, drinks, and breakfast. The staff are great nothing is too much trouble from reception, concierge, waitresses, and cleaners everyone. We will be back !!!
Because we are on the 7th floor we can't open a window for safety, but there is air conditioning in the room but that's not quite the same
no internet in rooms old hotel . not good service ! for this sum you can find much better !
Room wasnt ready on arrival we we were told amenities for our room would be uograded but wernt disspointed for over 200 pounds for the night. Staff didnt ask upon checkout how stay was
Bed was very comfy, room clean and warm. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast wasn't included. No drinking water in room.
Great staff, amazing concierge staff couldn't be more helpful. Did everything possible for us.
Just didn't have the feel of other Marriotts, rooms on the small side, bar mediocre, but I guess it is cheaper than other London Marriotts so you get what u pay for
Easy-from the booking to Position to get around to family in Queenspark area, commuting to strategic tourist sites by bus and tube, breakfast with wide choice menu (even gave me gluten free bread and cornflakes when I asked). All the pluses far out weighed any minus. It was more than what we usually spend on foreign hotels, was value for price. Would definitely return.
How can such a prestigious brand hotel not have disposable bags in the bathroom bin or room garbage pail? In spite of this, the room was always made up clean. We asked for extra milk saches for our coffee condiments and always received additions. The minuses were so insignificant.
The staff were so friendly and efficient - a pleasure to communicate with. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and with a lovely comfy bed.
Went out on Sunday at 930 came back at 3 room not made up
The food was good
3 pound 50 for a room service tray to be delivered is silly. The main meals were curry and there is a curry take away opposite
Clean, comfortable, super staff
Windows wouldn't open Bit far out of central london
this hotel is good family with children as you have 2 double beds
The swimming pool is not inside the building, So you have to go around the building to get to the gym
location was convenient, the staff provided me with a room away from main road, and was very attentive to my needs
bed was broken with a drop in the middle...
Good location, good staff, good value restraunt they do kids portions that were good value, nice bar
bathroom was mouldy and after complaining they never offered to do anything about it :(
We chose this hotel for its location, it is near to our daughter's flat. The room size is good for London.
Breakfast was basic. The hotel could have been cleaner. On the second day our room still hadn't been made up by 5 o'clock in the afternoon. We had booked "breakfast included", but that didn't get through to the hotel, so every morning we had the same argument.
Park on-street and save £30, plenty of parking on surrounding roads.
We couldn't check in at 3.50pm, even though it states check in is from 3pm.
From arrival to departure everything was perfect- staff, location of room (so quiet), room service, room, breakfast... Would def stay again
Paying for wifi
everything, the room was not cleaned, when i asked for it to be done it was a huge upset. the air conditioning was to be fixed, it was not. like a hellicoptor in the room. staff unhelpful looked as if they cared but did not. after care when i asked for their help was abusive.
Staff help and friendliness. Room quality and the usual very comfy bed.
The A/C unit in our room was stuck on 26 degrees which made for very warm and uncomfortable nights. Despite asking Reception about it on three separate occasions, the problem was not fixed during our stay. We were surprised that the waiting staff in the Fratelli restaurant did not know what vinegar was, and offered us Balsamic vinegar with our steak and chips. Free WiFi should be available in the bedrooms. Breakfast is a bit expensive at £18.95 per adult. The on-site parking is very expensive at £30 per day.
Location good (although it's more Kilburn than Maida Vale) but otherwise very disappointing.
We booked an executive room but were given a standard by mistake. When they moved us the room was exactly the same! Overall the service was poor, the room noisy (no double glazing) and we won't be going back.
Comfy bed, breakfast, staff, location to quiet tube station, very convenient for Paddington. We were able to check in early as a room was available and store bags for the day after checking out.
Only disappointment was the exec lounge...no snacks or alcoholic drinks available on Friday night. Drinks available from bar between 5 and 8 but limited to becks beer or some not very nice wine. I think it's limitations should be made clearer, I had to sit in an empty bar with my son and so just had one drink. Breakfast did compensate to a certain extent.
The staff were very good and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel clean with a small yet great area for children .
Room was very warm with a lack of working air conditioning as it was broken. Fan brought to room with water and fruit (very nice). However; the a/c system was very loud along with fans, not a great sleep:(
Great location for a short hop into the centre of London. Polite, helpful staff.
Rooms are extremely hot, don't have proper air con, windows don't open. Staff didn't communicate my breakfast request. This was dealt with effectively on check out by the front desk.
The rooms were clean. There is a fridge in the room.
The first room had terrible mattresses, unbelievably saggy and uncomfortable. The room was very cramped for a family of four. Windows were locked and the air-con just churned out warm air when set to coolest temp. Staff unable to move us so spent night two with noisy fan in the room and slept under sheets. Changed to a bigger room with a window that opened (slightly) but air-con still churning out warm air on coldest setting. Stifling, none of us slept well, kids were too tired to enjoy the trip which was extremely disappointing. If you have an electric toothbrush/razor, there are no sockets in the bathrooms.
