Score from 1855 reviews Very good
Found that it was noval the yellow brick road theme
A good sized room and bed (deluxe king booked) in a quiet location. I left a pair of earrings behind on checkout and Housekeeping were very helpful and efficient in checking for them and returning them safely to me.
Fire alarm went off at 2.20am, which was a bit of a shock! Luckily no need to evacuate as it stopped reasonably quickly.
convenient walk to tube
Woken up with fire alarm at 2am Swimming pool was dirty
we met the doorman samir, he make us the trip
The breakfast buffet was great, everything hot and very tasty. Huge amount of choice with children well catered for as well.
TV reception was poor, impossible to watch a programme.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean hotel. Walking distance from a tube station.
A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
Despite being out of our room all day it was not serviced. The management were very apologetic and to their credit agreed to a small reduction in the room price for one day and later sent a complimentary bottle of wine to the room.
Staff Tasteful breakfast
The room having a balcony, the ample breakfast & being able to book in a little earlier.
The fact that you had to walk through the lobby to access the pool& that there were swimming classes in there over this weekend.
The staff were excellent so polite food was good room perfect will book again
Concierge was cool, and almost everything as expected.
WiFi is not included! And the charge is immense. Elevators are slow. And there is no public staircase.
Very dated, no stairs everyone waiting for lifts,
Good price for a London hotel.
I ask for a adapter for my phone and the answer was " we sell'it to you for 5pounds", in a four star hotel i think this is not an answer. Every morning at 9 am someone knock at the door, cleaning service... At 9? I'm in vacation come on... At the pool they don't have robe, again not a 4* hotel
Staff for service need to be more courteous; besides the customer experience can improve
The upgrade to the executive suite
the location is rather far out of central london
Lovely Indian restaurant - Zaike - a pleasant surprise Close to Swiss Cottage underground station
The noisy air conditioning and rattling in the walls (couldn't turn it off) Expensive and not great value for money
Food, staff, gym, location
Lack of free wi fi in room
Love the hotel and have stayed in it on many occasions...
Unfortunately we were given a disabled friendly room which takes a lot of the charm out of a night away from home.
Good location near Swiss Cottage tube station. Good size rooms with comfortable beds. Wholesome breakfast with wide choice. Staff are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to please. Stayed previously and it was good to see the standards remain high.
Limited choice of dishes in the hotel bar/restaurant.
I loved the room service. It was in a great location.
There was no free wifi in such a big hotel. Also those feather covers on the mattresses aren't a good idea as some people can be allergic to feathers.
Staff very helpful Facilities great Location within walking distance of the tube Great breakfast buffet and really helpful serving staff
Not much variety for dinner although all food was excellent
Staff polite, courteous, helpful, friendly. We were celebrating our wedding Anniversary and daughters 10th Birthday. Breakfast wonderful. Staff efficient helpful. Lovely pool.
Leafy street location and easy walk to Regents park. Quick connections by tube or bus.
Friendly, helpful staff & tasty breakfast!
Lovely hotel, warm and friendly helpful staff. Just out of the centre but around £8 taxi to Marble Arch (or station close by) well recommended
Not too impressed with evening meal in hotel restaurant very expensive, despite kids eating free. Had better curries elsewhere, better and cheaper eating out in London
