Friendly Staff Clean Comfortable Cheap
No breakfast Shower not great
The guy on the reception was very helpful. We weren't after any fancy hotel as we were taking part in a cycling event the next day. They even let us leave the car in the car park until our event was finished.
Location, cleanliness, staff, price
Overpriced for a small room no sink plug couldn't have a proper wash or a wet shave creaky floorboards needs decorating and upgrading
unreliable and very slow wifi
location broad check-in/out times
tiny bathroom hardly working wi-fi
cheap quality of service friendly staff refrigerator
small room poor beds
The close proximity to Westfield.
We stayed at the basement and there was a lot of noise from people walking above. There was also a lot of noise from other guests, even at night.
The Hotel is close to the Bus Station that brings you to stanstead airport for example. There is also a big supermarket and Restaurants close. For people that love Shopping: right near there is the give westfield stratford Shopping Center that you will love. The stuff was so helpful with everything! I even got a fen ( Ventilator) since it was pretty hot.
The only thing that was Not that nice was that the Hotel was close to the street but if you closed the window it got pretty hot. But like i said i even got an fen.
nice clean room with plenty of space excellent value for money close to shops and transport
little natural light in room
Location Helpful stuff Clean room Clean linen WI fi in the room
The gentleman who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room was a quiet one, as requested.
I didn't actually stay in the Olympus Nirvana. After checking in there, I was taken to the Olympus Hotel 6 doors up where I was in room 5. On arrival, during my first evening and on departure there were many bags of laundry partially (and completely at one point as they fell over) blocking the route to my room. The whole place had a grubby feel to it. The shower drainage was so poor it was necessary to turn off the water mid shower to allow the water to drain and so avoid having a flood. The door opening was so narrow (approx. 365mm) that a slim person - which I am not - would have struggled to get in. Bizarrely the curtains were nailed to the wall and could not be opened. Not that there was much beyond a rubbish dump outside to see - bedstead, mattress (of which there were one each outside both hotels giving them a very run down appearance) chairs with a line strung between and clothes pegs on it. Talking of chairs, it would have been good to have a chair in the room. The WiFi was unreliable and the TV difficult to use as there was no battery cover on the remote to secure the batteries in place.
Good location just a small walk to two very good shopping complex with the all means of public transport located between the two. A couple a nice bars close by also, serving good food at reasonable prices. For a place to stay to put d head down for the night I would definitely recommend.
Sky tv is advertised however what u have is a sky box without the basic free view channels, you have bog standard terrestrial tv BBC, ITV etc..... Not a big issue but I personally see this as false advertising.
Very nice and helpful personnel, very clean, simple design, very close to the public transport surrounded, clean linen and towels. For the price it was an amazing hotel.
Low room in the basement.
there could have been a chair in the room, my only real complaint we more or less used it as a bed for a couple of nights
This was not a good hotel. You could hear everything that was going on around you and I had to wear earplugs to be able to sleep.
The staff was so nice. Is not the first time i was in this Hotel. I will comeback for sure. Fron the first time i was ( august 2013) till now... the hotel is now better, more clean, nice room. everything perfect.
The wi-fi is not working. it's the only bad thing here.
The rooms were small but still smart. We were very late arriving and the staff were friendly and more than accommodating when we eventually arrived. The bathroom was smart and clean. It was in a great location for where we wanted to go only about 25mins altogether to get to the O2.
The bed was very creaky and kept waking us up everytime we moved and the pillows were way too thin but thats personal preference!
Damp smell in room & lumpy mattress & very cheap bathroom fittings mean they'll be malfunctioing soon. The conversion to B&B seems to have been a cost-cutting DIY job. Not a place to stay if you want more than a place to sleep & shower.
