Excellent wifi reception. Additional heating. Bottle of water and glass next to the bed. Good size bath Nothing was to much trouble. Plenty of hot water. Forgiving hosts! I took room key to Germany for a week
Shower limited by height. Not a problem! It's been a long time since I last had a good soak in a bath. Scolding hot water. This is not a complaint, just a warning.
Bev and Michael were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Bev picked me up from the station, even though it isn't a far walk. The bed and room are incredibly comfortable - I fell asleep in about three minutes every night - and it's nice and close to town. Best of all, when I sneaked upstairs after dinner looking for some ice for my canned G&T (...that's what holiday is for), Michael presented me with not only ice but a lemon wedge as well. Absolutely wonderful.
We were in Dover for the weekend as we wanted to explore the eastern and western cliffs. I booked the room following 100% positive reviews on Booking.com. The guest house is warm, inviting, friendly and homely. The owners went to a great effort to ensure the guests are comfortable and happy. We also loved the breakfast. The guest house is located less than 10 minutes walk to the city centre. To summarise: after a hectic and stressful week at work it was nice to be spoiled.
Bev and Michael couldnt have been better hosts. Breakfasts were great and I would certainly go back there again. Thanks
Everything was perfect the landlords were extremly nice people , the room nice and cozy , breakfast was excellent , you could not fault in anyway this place
Parking is an issue
The thoughtful extra touches were much appreciated.
Hospitality of hosts Breakfast Advice on what to do and where to eat and drink Prompt return of emails re time arriving and how to get to caterburbury and dover castle
Small ceilings for six foot man
Everything was fantastic. 100%
Friendly and hospitable owners. Could not do enough for us.
Comfortable, friendly well situated for centre and places of interest. Everything to make a pleasant stay provided by owners. Could not fault this place.
Wonderful place, the best hotel ever! Very friendly and clean, only 10 minutes to the sea centre of Dover. Stunning breakfasts. And the owners of this b&b are very very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Everything was absolutely perfect.
It was quirky friendly warm and homely
Appreciated the tips from the couple who ran it. Good food, nice accomodations
Privacy, very homey feeling, the hosts were warm, friendly people who went out of their way to be helpful.
Quirky cellar room & great breakfast
Room, hospitality, excellent breakfast - will definitely been staying again. This is the best place that I have stayed in in Dover. Highly recommended.
There is nothing to dislike. This is a wonderful place to stay.
The apartment was so comfortable with plenty of room. Michael and Beverly made me so welcome and could not do enough to help and their local knowledge helped me get around not only Dover but Canterbury as well.
Michael and Beverly are outstandingly helpful, friendly hosts who made me feel very much at home, cooked a first-rate breakfast and sent me on my way for a long walk with "second breakfast" in my rucksack. Room was small but perfectly adequate, everything was clean and worked, bed very comfortable. Nicely informal. Thank you! (Solo traveller but the website insists I describe myself as "family with older children"!
Nothing; everything was perfect for me.
Beverly and Michael went the extra mile for us. They contacted us before arrival to make sure they were at home when we arrived, giving us plenty of information about things to do in the area as well. They provided us with our choices of breakfast and asked us at what time we wanted to have it. Room is very cozy and full of nice stuff, although you should mind your head, ceiling is quite low :-)
Wifi password was not provided, but it was also our fault that we forgot to ask for it when we arrived. Due to low ceiling, you have to sit in the bath to shower, but that was fine for us.
The hosts were so friendly and kind! They even got up really early to make me a delicious breakfast, so I could get punctual and with a full belly to the ferry. The room is just fantastic! It's so big, almost like a little flat. There is an ensuite with a beautiful bathtub and I really felt welcome there. My dog and I had a great stay and I would highly recommend this b&b.
One of the best places I've ever been! All clean, comfortable, welcoming hosts. It all helps to make you feel like home.
For travellers by Rail, 299 London Rd, is about a 10 to 15 mins walk from Dover Priory Station. Good bedroom and bathroom, and with an extra room space. The suite had lots of character and many thoughtful extras. A very warm welcome from the hosts, who made my stay as pleasant as possible. A very tasty Breakfast was served, to start the day well. A great place to stay!
Very nice and warm place to stay. Michael and Beverley are the best hosts we met on our Trip through England. We loved this B&B very much :)
Beverly and Michael were just brilliant! I spent a night at their cozy place and didn't want to wake up in the morning due to the wonderful mattress!! Breakfast magnificent as well, what else can I say?? :-)
We were made to feel extremely welcome and stayed in a very comfortable room. The landlords went the extra mile at every turn, thank you. If we are in the area in the future, this is where we will stay.
