Facilities very good compared to other London 'budget' hotels that I have stayed in: excellent full breakfast, free Wi-fi in room, Freeview TV, coded safe and tea-coffee maker in a clean re-furbished on-suite room with friendly staff. At time of stay re-wiring work, during the day though. |

The friendliness of the staff, the recently refurbished room. the location near to Victoria tation 7 nearby restaurants. We were on the fourth floor, there was no lift, returning to the hotel in the evening we like to sit in the bar for a nightcap-there was no bar? |

Only the location. Close to bus ,train & tube stations & 10 min walk to buckingham palace 25min to london eye etc. Too small & basic. No facilities e.g bar. Room reputedly recently refurbished but not obvious. Shower door not fitted properly, wash basin plug didn`t fit, tv didn`t work,cistern refill very slow. All reported to rception 1st day. but nothing was fixed eve though receptionist did tell maintenance. |

Closeness to Victoria station and underground. Breakfast very nice and plentiful. Rooms very noisy and hot. Room No 20 located right beside reception. Can hear doors banging from very early in the morning. |

Very close to victoria station. Old style hotel but clean and comfortable. One pound per luggage charged for the left luggage service which is free in most of the hotels. |

The proximity to Victoria Station is very convenient. Also, the breakfast (and staff) were excellent. I was very impressed by the amount of food offered, and everything was delicious. The staff was very quick to respond when we had issues with our telephone, and also when we blew an electrical fuse. There was no lock on the room window. Also, while the room and bathroom were quite clean, the walls and register, etc. were covered in dirt. This could be easily remedied. Otherwise, everything was great. |

Clean rooms (cleaned every day), maybe a little too small for a family with small child; very good breakfast; hint for Romanians: the receptionist is Romanian (at the time of our stay- sep 09); hotel is located on a quiet street, some 5 min walk from Victoria Station, an important subway/ bus/ train hub |

The location of the hotel was great, staff was friendly, room was very small, but we were there only to sleep, so we didn't need much space. Breakfast was good. Well.....a few metres living space apart from the bed would've been nice, but as said before, we were not living in the room, just sleeping :) |

Room on the basement was a little hot and noisy (staff arrives early). I have been moved to room on the ground floor but it was a little noisy too due to the fact it was on the street. |

The included breakfast was ok. Internet was free and seemed to work ok. The place is not very nice at all-dirty and smells; rooms are very small and minimal.Before booking, read the other REVIEWS-it doesn't have a lift and you can bet your life that if you have luggage you'll end up having to lug it up 5 flights of narrow stairs. And if you pick a hotel near Victoria, you do have luggage!The reception desk clerk "kindly" asked if we "need" help with the luggage. Obviously we did! Our room was on the 4th floor and I had 20 kilos of suitcase to carry up. His "offer" was so half-hearted that I refused it. Winchester, don't ask if people need help-get a porter and provide the service free. |

we were welcomed by the reception staff and allowed to leave our luggage as we were too early to check in. Then when we did check in our bag had been taken to our room for us. the only thing i can say was that the first day we had breakfast we hadnt finished our cereal when they brought our cooked breakfast. |

I would like to say that I found this hotel very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was small but very comfortable and clean, and ideal for the one night stay that I needed. The breakfast the following morning was 1st class and the waitress service excellent..I would not hestitate to stay at this hotel in future. |

Great location, walking distance to Victoria Station, where you can take all kinds of transportation. Good selection of breakfast items. Room was very clean. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. The room was very small, but this is London anyway. The room was also very noisy, we could hear everything from the room upstairs. |
