The area is nice hotel food was good nice pool friendly helpfull staff.

Food and drink a little overpriced and cost of some treatments decor could do with a upgrade in the room and bar area chairs are broken

Staff were not very friendly - seemed uninterested.

We stayed in a huge room with beautiful views to the golf course. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a washer and dryer in our bathroom! The spa was modern, clean, and was a great experience. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great!

The dècor could do with an upgrade. However, it wasn't a problem, as the size of the room and the spa experience made up for any of that. However, at the restaurant, we ended up having to get up from our table to order our drinks, as no-one even acknowledged our presence when we sat down. All in all, though, we would go back for another weekend break, though.

We arrived to find our internet booking (backed by papers we had brought) had not been recorded by the hotel and were offered a very unsatisfactory back room. It spoilt our trip and yet we were required to pay £90 for a poor nights sleep. We made our views known but nothing could be done. We would not recommend your hotel to anyone. Sir Michael Pitt

We were at a wedding in the hotel next door so the location was excellent.

The decor was very drab and dated.

The only thing we liked about our stay at the London Beach Country Hotel is that was for only 2 nights.

Not enough staff working, we were waiting around on more than one occassion for staff to appear. There was a wedding on, on the Saturday, it appear no extra staff was laid on for this either as this is when we had the longest waits. Breakfast was till 10am, we went to breakfast at 9.45am and at 10am the toaster was switched off and all food cleared away. Food wasn't great. When we checked out we asked if the manager was available, we were told 'no' as he was off that day. The receptionist didn't bother asking if there was anything she could do to help. Having stayed in many 5+ star hotels around the world, we feel it is a very over priced hotel and would rate it more of a 2/3 star. We will never again stay at the London Beach Country Hotel!!!!!

Friendly reception staff.

Breakfast was a shambles, to say the system was poor infers there was a system. I will say the food when we got it was fine however the process was mind boggling. You would queue for a buffet only to find that half the options had run out, so you would sit down, out would come a little more, queue up, oh no, run out again. The people that selected fried or poached eggs had those served to the table only to have to wait in line for the rest of the breakfast, and you've got it they ran, out so the eggs got cold. Not the service I would expect from a 5* hotel.

Do not be misled by the spa/pool pictures as when we arrived and asked to use the swimming pool we were told it would cost £25 each. This information is not made very clear until you have booked.

The view from the room was lovely overlooking the golf course.

The reception staff were not very friendly, when asked about the local vineyards she referred to a leaflet and said if there wasnt one there then she didnt know and shrugged her shoulders. The staff were all quite young and seemed more intent on talking to each other. There was no information in the room regarding usage of the Pool or even if you could use it if not booked on a Spa break. The room was incredibly hot and although there was an AC unit it was so loud you could not have it on at night.

Het uitzicht uit de kamers is schitterend. De kamers zijn ruim

Een zwak punt is en blijft het ontbijt. Vooral als er weinig gasten zijn duurt het idioot lang voordat het ontbijt op tafel komt. Je krijgt wel redelijk snel koffie/thee, maar daarna kun je wel een rondje gaan lopen voordat de rest komt. Jammer en niet nodig.

We did not like the meal costings we paid £25 for dinner which was limited did not include a sweet that was extra £6 each, we were offered the bar menu our £25 dinner allowance shruk to £15, quite a muddle, Felt the room needed a good spring clean, all the carpet edges were very dusty.

generally speaking it was fine, Breakfast and staff were excellent

wi-fi did not work other than in the lobby. They admitted there was a problem
