This was our 3rd visit and the level of service is excellent and always consistant. There has been a lot of building work going on around the hotel every time (building new underground London Bridge Station) but each time room has been very quiet. We have had breakfast at the hotel which is very good but also there are lots of really good brefast places close by (try Borough Market a fantastic foodie Market). The hotel cost is very reasonable for what feels like an upmarket, luxury hotel.

This was a great little boutique hotel located a block from the London Bridge Rail / Underground station. Tower of London, Saint Paul's, Globe Theatre all within walking distance and the river walk is close and lovely. The Concierge staff at the hotel were exceptional. Reception was O.K., but not nearly as service oriented as our Concierge's Ivan and Phillipe.

I thought I'd reserved an exec suite but it was a basic room so seemed expensive. Flashing light in the bathroom was annoying. Not enough milk sachets for tea. Concierge was rude when we asked to book a taxi for later - told us we should walk to The Globe Theatre! Asked for Room Service at 0130 and the chap on the phone was rude and unhelpful so we gave up!

This is a very comfortable hotel, small loby but very friendly staff and first class breakfast which stayed open until noon (on New Years Day). There's building work going on at London Bridge Station (The Shard) which didn't impact on the stay but makes the general area look a mess at the moment.

We stayed here for New years eve, finding the hotel once you got out of London Bridge Station took some time but it is very close, on arrival was greeted by very friendly staff and we got upgraded to a Suite. The room was lovely and spacious and a huge comfortable bed and bath to die for. There are some major redevelopment around the outside of the hotel but this did not effect our stay, just the view wasn't good. London eye, Westminster Bridge are approx 15 mins walk away.

We had a very nice stay and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Even to the Housekeepers saying good morning to us before we said it to them. Rooms were very nice with all the amenities that you would want.. Massive road works all round the Hotel. We took an hour to find the Hotel entrance as it had been changed to a one way system and we did not know that we had to go through the Bus Station to get to the front door. We should have been told about this and the road works which went on all night and kept us awake.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was beautiful and so clean I did not like the kettle in the drawer, I am sure it could be a health and safety issue. The drawer has to be left open to boil the kettle. If the kettle has to be fixed in place I am sure somewhere else could have been chosen such as on a small table.

At first sight this hotel seems O.K. At night there is the noise of ventilations in all the bathrooms. The droning gives you the impression to lie in an airplane. Don't forget your earplugs and sleepingpills. And a second warning: in case of a fire, you will be trapped.

Unfortunately the whole area in which the hotel is located is undergoing major redevelopment. When finished I think this will be a good base for exploring London. The noise and inconvenience was not enjoyable during my stay and I would rather have been informed before booking.

There was a polite air around the staff it was clean everywhere there was a quiet away from the nearby road and railway traffic, but my room was in the rear, so I cannot comment on the front facing rooms.

Location The inefficiency of reception staff who did not have a room ready at 17.00, could not differentiate between a mr and ms and did not know if my bill had been settled or not.

Very comfortable room, although opposite a building site in a busy area, sound proof and quiet - quite something for London! Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked the bar and availability of good late night snacks! Convenient location for the City, short walk to London Bridge tube station. The area is not attractive but is a short walk from London Bridge and the river.
