Clean, room well equipped and presented. Has a room safe. Good WiFi and TV
the room was small
Perfect location to train station to get around town.
Breakfast not great, we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere.
Hotel just next to Paddington station so very convenient to commute. It is pretty clean.
I've booked double room but this was surely a room for a pet and not for humans. Small (sort of) double bed is pushed to the walls so approach is available only from 2 sides. When you put your suitcases (in our case 2 of them) there is only one side left leaving work table completely useless as you can't come near it. There is 40cm space left between the bed and the wall to enter the bathroom and size of the bathroom is in line with the size of the room itself - like a normal shower cabin. You can hear the trains from Paddington although it's not that bad. Hotel is charging 8.5GBP per person for breakfast and it's definitely not worth it.
It is located close to the underground (subway)
The 'small' room we brooked was incredibly small. Our suitcase, folded open covered literally all the floorspace. The bed was not a double, but a slightly-larger-than-usual single bed. You're warned: small = cramped in this hotel
Location. Price. Clean.
Small room. Stairs to lift.
Very small rooms for the price paid and not like the pictures advertised
Noise outside room from staff
Location cleanliness staff also good
Great location! Easy to access from/to Heathrow airport, also from/to London city centre. Staffs were very friendly. My room was very small, but clean and comfortable. It was worth the price.
Very close to Paddington main line and tube stations. Staff were enthusiastic. Air conditioning worked in room
breakfast was in adjacent Garfunkels. no lift from ground floor; lift started at first floor.
Bathroom is very very cosy. What would be the bare minimum space needed for a shower cubicle , toilet and wash basin ? The answer lies in the room I had at the Mercure Hotel Paddington.
Perfect location very clean room
Very small room.It was double but there was space just for...half person.
Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend others
A very clean and well presented room, located extremely close to Paddington station.
The lift was not working at the time of my visit, but as my room was on the first floor it was not inconvenient.
Loved breakfast at Garfunkel's great breakfast with good selection. Great location for Paddington station.
guest lift broken had to walk up 5 flights of stairs for whole stay found out upon departure service lift working should have had staff member in service lift to help guest also in case of medical emergency. Also was told on departure all items in mini bar were complimentary with our room package would have been nice to know at check-in.
The dressing gown is a nice touch
- Room size so small that the double bed was tight to the wall. - There was no place to lay our suitcases. Had to keep the suitcases on the bed then moved them to the desk chair at bedtime. - Elevator not working in the lobby - it worked from the 1st floor so had to carry luggage one floor.
We liked the location, and the helpful staff.
Excellent and helpful staff. Able to leave a bag all day before catching train home. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Overall very good
We asked for a room not on the first floor due to road noise. We had a fifth floor room (top), which was a bit on the tight side around the bed. The roof slope made it tight to get in and out of the bed too.
Great location next to London Paddington.
You get what young or. About a typical 3 star...nothing special. Front desk spoke limited English with heavy accent and elevator did not run to ground floor.
Coming from Heathrow, the hotel is the best location. No need to take a taxi to the hotel , no need to pull your trolly along the street for 300m or so,,,, it is only less than 10m from the exit of train station!!
Elevator was not working from ground floor to 1st floor for whole my stay(3days) it's ok for one floor but need to be improved.
elevator was not working ,in hotel ?
The location and friendly staff
The lift breaking down and smaller rooms than I expected
*Staff was nice and helpful The mini bar was free of chrage The beds were comfortable
The bathroom is small
