Quality Crown Hotel Paddington

Everything felt very fresh, clean and new. The staff were helpful and welcoming. When we checked in it was to discover that we had been upgraded to a better room which was a real bonus. Great that fresh milk was available.

Great location, right next to underground, lots of restaurants and shops near by

Trains going under the hotel made a lot of noise, but I guess there's nothing you can do for that

For me. it's location is its most important feature.It is located less than a minute walk from the Paddington Underground station, thus everywhere was reachable in a question of minutes. It is also very close to the Paddington train station, and this is where the Heathrow Express service terminates. Another plus is the free Wi-Fi. Another reviewer had stated that he had problems accessing it with a Linux laptop. I had a Macbook (laptop) and had no problems at all with the Wi-Fi, this worked first time round.

As per other reviews, the room was on the small side, especially the toilet facilities, which were a bit too crammed.

the location is great, only a few minutes walk from hyde park and literally across the street from paddington station, which is good both for the heathrow express and regular tube service. the room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful and polite.

after five nights we asked for a late checkout (later than the standard 11 o'clock). staff was unwilling to even consider. this was quite a disappointing approach.

The rooms were very small and would be uncomfortable if needed for more than 1 night. The room rate was much higher inclusive of breakfast when we could have booked room only and got breakfast cheaper at the Garfunkle's next door!

the hotel was close to the Tube station and the bus station. Lots of restaurants in the street. The room was nice, design and big enough.

The room was very clean, the housekeepers were excellent in daily attendance. The hotel was in a great centralized location for sightseeing.

The bed was uncomfortable due to having two twin mattresses together. Also the wake up calls were not reliable.

Excellent location, near de Paddington station - that means close to the Heathrow Express and the underground. There was a radio in our room with iPod dock. Clean room, good bed. The bathroom was small, but ok.

Very small room, but I think this is a characteristic of most hotels in London.

The staff were both professional and friendly. I only stayed one night but did feel very comfortable and the free wireless internet is very good. Overall a nice Hotel that has been refurbished very tastefully. reasonably priced for London

Rooms are a tad on the small size especially if you have alot of luggage.

The room was so small, it is unbelievable it is 2.3 m x2.5 m approx.. There is a table with a chair that you can not sit on because there is no space so you will sit on the bed instead who is next to the window and again no space. the bathroom is a shower with 1.7 m x 1.0 m, wide approx it is more a box than a room.
