Great hotel, fantastic staff I was amazed at the rooms as they were plenty big and decent tv and shower

Very good value for money: clean, reasonably spacious room. Friendly staff!

It's a 15 minute walk to north Acton tube (to get into central London), though Acton main line and Acton central are a bit closer. The area itself lacks facilities, though there are a lot of places to eat in the main street in Acton.

Being charged the same amount when I stayed in the room as a single (my daughter had left the day before me), when I had been led to believe that I would only be charged for myself.

On arrival, we received a friendly greeting and the owners gave us something to drink which to me showed great care and reassured me that we would be looked after. The breakfast was good value for money and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I think the WIFI should be included in the price as it is an amenity that should come included nowadays. Furthermore the beans were cold at breakfast so maybe a bit more care is required regarding temperature control but the scrambled egg was hot and other breakfast items were fine. I would have like more towels as well.

Staff were friendly and room was fairly clean.

Hand prints on the wall above the bed. The outside of hotel made us not want to go in as it could do with some decorating and a new hotel sign but when we were inside it was fine.

Very helpful and polite staff. Young man on reception carried our bags to the room at the topog the hotel. Very clean. Extra pillows provided on request.

Radiator in the room didn't work. Fan heaters provided . Hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. Only mirror was a round one in the bathroom.

Room was cold,asked the night porter if the radiators were on and was told they were but ours didn't get warm at all resulting in a very cold room as the temperature outside was below freezing.

Clean, warm and well presented.

Tricky for people with mobility difficulties (stairs, low hand rails) but we managed.

The bathroom was a bit small.

LGH is a very clean and comfortable hotel. It is perfect for families and you can access to buses and train stations within seconds!!!! Nice breakfast with fresh foods.

Although this place looks rather ordinary from the outside, inside it feels more like a hotel than a guest house and the rooms are much better appointed, maintained and cleaned than in the traditional English B&B. The breakfast room was very impressive, with good standard of food hygiene.

We booked the 5 person room for 2 adults and 3 children, very nice, clean, modern, everything we needed after a busy day in London. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Tube station about a 15/20 min walk.

The room got very hot with the heating on.

Very good value for money; I stayed in worse 4-stars hotels. Room recently painted, quite large for London standards, you had room to at least move around the room, the luggage could fit into the drawer so that you needn't see it all day long, bathroom large enough not to feel claustrophobic. In the room the normal add-ons for London, tee / coffee / pot. Another plus was the presence of different electrical sockets, very useful at least for travellers from the continent with laptops or other electrical appliances (it's the first time I found those in a London hotel). I don't know if they fit the American plugs also. Breakfast OK, at least for a couple of days. Would definitely return here when in London!

A small minus, if any: the breakfast. It is quite ok for the first days, but if you plan to stay more than, say, 3 nights, it could get boring and unsatisfactory. If something on the offer runs out during the morning, there are chances it isn't refilled.
