Proximity to airport
Air con really ineffective and to open window meant letting in plane/street noise. Cold/rubbery buffet breakfast.
Staff are good and 10 minute walk to the pheasant inn. Some of the best food in London, arguably the best food anywhere around Heathrow!
Everything was good. Staff are some of the best I have come across.
The room was very clean and good service, new hotel
The room was small, just enough room to walk around the bed only
Near the street and airport, too noisy
location, two minutes by bus from airport.clean, comfortable room, friendly staff
Location, parking, access to buses and underground.
Concerned about using WiFi because of scurity so did not use.
It was a comfortable room to stay in while waiting to fly home. Very close to the airport, and easy to get there for the tube up to London, there is a hopper bus and also free buses to the terminal. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were friendly, if not over friendly at times.
I was encouraged to have a buffet one night at 8 pm, and found out later it was put out at 6pm. The hot food was dried up and there were no desserts left. After I complained I was given a discount on the food.
close to Heathrow airport
The room was very small and it could do with a renovation especially in the bathroom. You could hear noises from the corridor. Wifi is too expensive (15 GBP/24hr).
Reasonable costs, the room was clean and tidy so no problems there. Restaurant choices and breakfast were good.
The lifts to the third floor did not seem to inspire confidence they appeared to be very "tired". Lastly I booked through Booking. Com but holiday inn had different rate which was more costly as they had added breakfast.
Near Heathrow with convenient Hoppa shuttle access. Reasonable price and quiet.
Room was very compact and this is clearly an older hotel.
Access to airport
Room was a bit small
Good value, clean and everything one can expect in a low/moderate rate airport motel.
Everything beyond the room and bed are extra fees. Wi-Fi minimum 19.95 pounds for 24 hours, 10% added to all food/drink costs. Do not plan to use the shuttle to get here or back to Heathrow. Hire a cab in advance for 10 pounds. This is true for all hotels.
The fact that when I arrived I was greeted by builders renovating the restaurant. The annoying sounds of drills, saws etc continued from Friday through to my departure of Sunday.
Great view towards the famous Heathrow Airport runway
Some facilities need upgrade
Helpfulness of staff, condition of room, close to the airport, availability of shuttle bus
having to struggle with bags to our rooms
Proximity to Terminal 3 Beers and food in main area good Rooms quiet, shower strong
Bit sterile and bland but it is an airport hotel and you'll only ever overnight here.
Location and welcoming staff
Paid WiFi and hard cheap beds
Closeness to Heathrow Airport. Free bus service was available. Reasonable price.
Vastly overpriced breakfast offered.
Helpfulness of staff.
The only reason why I booked at this hotel was because the hotel stated that it had sound proof windows at bookings.com. I had the opportunity and even at better rates some other three hotels at that area. But, decided to pay a little more for these " sound proof windows". However, when I got to the room, immediately noticed that they were not sound proof and my ear drums started hurting after three hours in the room. The hotel advertised that it was sound proof just because they put another window in front of the back window. But, these windows were as thick as a sheet of paper. As a result, you could still hear loud and clear every five minutes a plane taking off. It was horrible and don't recommend anybody to go to that place. What's also strange is that I asked for a quiet room at reception and the girl gave me a room facing an airport runway. If that's there quietest type of room, I don't imagine what's their loudest types of rooms. I will be contacting the Consumer Protection Agency Bureau and file a written complaint against this hotel. You can't advertise something you don't have. These hotel room windows are not sound proof. Sound proof windows are several centimetres thick and you don't hear anything from outside. I just got to sleep when that runway was shut down for the night which was between midnight to six or seven in the morning. I woke up with my ears hurting a lot. Check in was also awfully slow, even though there were two receptionist when I checked in. I also had to start my laptop and show the receptionist my e-mail reservation confirmation as she stated that she couldn't find anything on my name. It's very strange as I always book through online hotel websites and this is the first time it ever happens.
Paid Wifi, no complimentary breakfast, 12 pounds/night for parking.
Comfortable bed and pillows.
Well served with bus transport, either by a regular bus at no cost from the airport, or by the Hopper bus at a reasonable price.
Identifying the hotel from the bus at night was a matter of chance as the qualifying Ariel name was not part of the Holiday Inn sign.
