Close to the airport - instead of a taxi, its better to take public bus from Heathrow Airport Central Station and 6 minutes later be in front of the hotel. 111, 285, 105 - bus stop Harlington Corner, Bath Road. Food was good, room quiet, clean and comfortable, a bit small, but that's overall an issue with hotels in London, staff friendly and fast, tea and coffeee in the room. WiFi crazy expensive, 5 pounds for 60 minutes. I checked my emails ( 15 minutes), and went for a dinner, when I came back I realized my time is over, as it is not 60 minutes in total, but since the moment you paid. I slept in cheaper hotels in London, and WiFi was free of charge.

Close to airport, sound insulation pretty good. Bus stops for local free airport bus services from Central Bus Station just across the road so no need for the Hoppa bus. Good pub about 10 mins walk away. Meals in hotel restaurant are expensive

I stayed to sleep only between 2 flights. The hopon bus = excellent value to get me to H. Inn. However, when I asked for a 6 A.M. wake up call the staff told me to do it on the tv. I expressed concern and they said they'd call me but in a way that I didn't fully believe that they would remember to call me. I set the tv "okay" and then shut it off. It didn't make sense to me that it would work as my alarm clock. Needless to say, the room was 21 degrees c and I boiled and then I didn't sleep. The phone rang at 6 A.M. I turned the tv on and the tv turned off at 6:30 A.M. so I didn't understand that. I heard noise from the hallway and my neighbors. I would not return to your hotel but would return to the ibis next door.

You did not explain from the outset that there would be a cost to travel from and to the hotel/airport. Your advert indicated that the journey could be walked in fifteen minutes which is not correct.

You can get there for free from Terminal 1-3 with public transport - nr. 285 for instance but any bus that stops at Harlington Corner will do. Be careful not to confuse the Ariel with other Heathrow Holiday Inns as there are at least 3, one of which is also on the Bath road!

I was a returning guest. In addition to being convenient for Heathrow and in-house car rental, I continue to find that the Ariel is a good hotel with a high level of staff friendliness and attentiveness. Staff turnover appears low for the industry, and there are good reasons for this .I.E. good management. Accordingly, it was with pleasure that I returned. I would recommend this hotel to most classes of traveller. For visitors to London I recommend getting minicabs via the front desk to the nearest tube. Overall, 8.5-9.0 out of 10.

I left my mobile phone in the room accidently. I called when I realised and the staff were very helpful putting me through to housekeeping who said they would call me back after looking in the room. They called me back in about 20 minutes and they found the phone so I travelled 30 minutes back to the hotel to pick it up. I was very pleased and would like to thank the hotel.

Location of the hotel close to Heathrow airport meant you could take the free public bus 105, 111 or 285 directly to the hotel and back. Check in was fast and the rooms were perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Bathrooms were bigger than expected with a full bathtub. Just an observation but I think room service needs to do a sweep of the hallways every once in a while as I saw food trays on the floor outside a room at around midnight and they were still there in the morning when I checked out.

The security of the hotel, location which is the last stopon the 'free bus route' operated by TFL at the airport (Harlington Corner stop) which means I am not reliant on the Hotel Hopper buses (£4.50) each way. Customer service is very good for a busy airport hotel. Noisy customers on the 1st night -hen party in thelobby -swiftly dealt with by staff

Clean and welcoming hotel with very convenient bus links to heathrow airport. You can be checking in less than an hour after waking up. The bed was a bit hard but overall a good place to stay if you have an early flight. The room rate was very competative (if booked in advance).

Good price for a Heathrow hotel, good reputation, clean, great food - got a fairly cheap upgrade which was nice too. Paid £45 or room, which is what it was worth. Wouldn't even consider it at the prices quoted in the lobby - £230+ per night. front desk staff were under resourced.

The location is very good for those heading home the next day. Easy short walk to public transportation for all terminals 423 line just across the street. Nice lobby bar with excellent service and seating. The second floor where I stayed desperately needed refreshing, carpets were worn beyond service life, paint and walls were in poor repair and dirty looking, lighting was bad. My room was very small and very old ... could not fully get my window closed and there was a draft all night.

I first stayed at Heathrow Ariel on 26/12/10 courtesy of British Airways, due to flight delays.Enjoyed stay although buffet dinner was sub standard. Breakfast boxes were very good, healthy food.I Was accompanied by my son. Boxes had different contents allowing us to swap. My recent stay was not planned but due to problem with flight connections. I choose the Ariel due to the price on Hotel.com,my previous experience at the hotel, close proximity to airport and availability of the Hoppa bus. If need be,and price favourable I would definately use The Ariel again Reception staff were very helpful, welcoming, and polite. Thank you Buffet dinner on first stay, choice poor, food dry. Second stay came prepared having shopped in m&s at airport !

Room was clean & cosy. Buffet breakfast was very good. Reception staff in particular attended to all requirements and gave money & time saving advice - demonstrating a real desire to enhance customer experience. I travelled alone and staff were most friendly and informative (transfer bus, trip timetables, cost cutting early bird purchasing etc). Great value for money!
