Great location has all the basics, kettle in the room modern bathroom no phone or bedside lights. has internet and pay phone so generally good. Outlook on to park lovely close to tube and all the sights in central london Noisy at night if you have the window open. No bedside light which was a hassle if you share. Breakfast basic, better to buy your own supplies and breakfast in room or eat out if you can afford it |

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sabrina on the front desk. It's in a good location also and close to 2 tube stations which made getting around pretty easy. I enjoyed my stay there very much. The double room, which I stayed in by myself, although very comfortable, I would consider to be too small for 2 people. |

The room was really small and it was noisy. Not worth the money that I'd payed for it. |

The loaceted place of this hotel is excellent. More or less a good place to stay for a city trip. The breakfast was poor. The room kind of little. |

It is in a pleasant area and close to Bayswater Tube station and Kensington Gardens. It offered good value for London hotel prices. It was quiet at night, both within the hotel and the outside street. It was clean and bathroom great. Two computers available - reasonable internet charge. Plenty of eating places close by in Queensway St - an exceptional Chinese restaurant (look for boy chopping crispy duck just inside the restaurant window). We have used London House Hotel twice now, and would recommend it. First night there, we were put in room L1. It was at top of stairs in the landing and far too small. Double bed squashed against the wall and very little space to move. They did shift us the next day to a much better room. L1, L2 etc should be offered at much cheaper price than normal double bed room. No phone in rooms. |

London House Hotel is in a very handy location and well priced. However, on the first night we were given a landing type room where you could not swing a cat, let alone open your suitcase- and the double bed was pushed against the wall. (Avoid LO1 LO2 etc). We did voice our concern the next day and were transferred to a much more satisfactory room. No telephone though. Overall - clean and good value. You cannot store luggage for a few days if going out of London and coming back to same hotel. Luggage storage is not a terribly safe option , even for a day. Breakfast is good if you like toast-- and toast. |

The cleanliness of the room was a bonus, location was great, easy to find and close to tube station. I felt as if the price I paid for the hotel didn't match the quality of the room. The bedroom was tiny as was the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities were provided but the kettle had to be boiled on the floor at the other side of the room. I understand that all rooms can not be shown on the internet but some warning as to varying room sizes would have helped. |

The location, cleanliness of the rooms, and hotel staff were all good. The hotel was 5 minutes from two different Tube stations which made it very convenient. Internet should be free or at least not twice the price of an Internet cafe. The breakfast could have had more variety. |

Good location. That's it. When we arrived and tried to pay by visa, they told us that there was a 3% service charge. Customers should be notified on booking.com of this extra cost beforehand so they can have another payment prepared if they choose. We were a given a room on the fourth floor, where we discovered several rooms were being renovated - not repaired, but fully gutted. The floor was loud and covered in dust. We asked the front desk to move us to another room, and they were not pleased, but eventually gave us a room on the third floor. The next morning, we awoke at 8am to loud banging directly next door. Soon construction workers flooded the floor. This went on every morning, sometimes as early as 7:15am. We will never stay here again. |

A very clean double room and bathroom, fairly modern. Ideal for people wanting a budget stay in the centre of London. Just a 5 minute walk from Bayswater tube station. Quite a small room and shower. Reception weren't particularly helpful for trying to find a nice restaurant. |

This is a great hotel if you are simply using it as a place to crash and grab a shower...what we were after. Good location and close to the major tube lines. There are plently of restaurants locally for eating and a great little pub just around the corner. Left luggage facitlity at no extra cost. We never opted for the continental breakfast as there are plently of places to grab food on the go. Great find and very resonable in cost :-) A little too hot and quite noosy our first morning but ear plugs soon sorted that out. Rooms have air con and the windows open fully which was good! A little run down and in need of a lick of paint! |

The location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel room and the bathroom was clean, however both quite small, but this was expected in London (it could be a little bit decorated). There was a fridge and cafe/tea making facilities in the room and also a hairdryer. There is a lift in the hotel! The staff was helpful and they spoke English!! :) There is also air-conditioning. Continental breakfast was the same every day, but O.K., except the coffee. However the hotel is located in a calm area, even behind closed windows we could hear the noises/shoutings at night coming from the park opposite the hotel. Big gap between the two parts of the window, should be very old. The coffee comes from a machine - not really good. |

Appeared to be in the middle of refurbishment and I fortunately seemed to have one of the refurbished rooms. Floorboards from room above were very creaky and my room was off the main stairs landing - fortunately there were no noisy fellow guests during my stay. |

To finally check-out & leave. There are no mirrors other than the small one above the sink. No electrical plug available in front of a mirror, obviously no mirror. Lighting in bathroom horrible, the main one above the sink was either burnt out or just didn't work. Noisy bathroom door that slams closed annoyingly automatically. Room was nothing like the internet picture. Felt like we were stuffed into a closet with no trimmings. Not enough towels for 2. Staff extremely uptight. This was our first nite in London, so major disappointment but at least the other places we did looked up. Question should be more like, was there anything we liked? Everything was disappointing but we thought if we at least have a good bed to sleep on it'll help, but the bed felt like we slept on a box spring with all the wires sticking into us. We stayed in amazing places thereafter for better rates & accomodations and great staff, etc. I would never recommend this Hotel, it's for you to check out other Hotels and learn from them. |
