Friendly staff Quiet rooms Fairly comfortable sleep
Distance from attractions
The location can't get any better; walking distance away from 2 tube lines, near food and supermarkets. Yet nicely tucked away from hustle and bustle so you still get a good night's sleep.
Walls are thin so noisy neighbours can be a problem.
It was close to Kensington garden an was in a nice area
For the price the room was very small! The room itself very clean but not to a very high standard.. The shower was really small an wasn't as clean as I would of thought I would be I.E. hairs an shower scum on parts of the wall. The staff were all European an not very welcoming or friendly
Everything, room was badly laid out with two end to end single beds. A shared bathroom! For £100 a night. Arguing staff.
No plug near the kettle Noise from opening and closing doors during the night
Helpful staff, pleasant room, a top sheet-- the only one we saw in our 18- day trip! (If you don't know about the dreaded duvet that most hotels seem to have, you will swelter in the early autumn, unless you have a top sheet, so that you can throw off the duvet!!).
Can't think of a thing!
ease to shops and food down queensway but tucked in enough to be in a very quiet and peaceful surrounding.
There wasn't a strong wifi signal in our room.
Location Friendly staff
Room too small
Great location,in lovely quiet neighbourhood, close to 2 underground lines. Loads of very nice restaurant in the area and walking distance to Nothing Hill and Kensington Park. Very clean, very friendly staff. It will definitely be my first choice for my next trips to London.
A of noise from the corridor, but not a bit issue.
Very convenient to 2 different tube lines. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Safe neighborhood to walk at night. Comfy bed. Loved having a little frig. Kettle in the room. Good Wifi.
Had to pay for breakfast. Cab called by hotel was *really* expensive. Do they get a cut?
Locatıon, pricing and room
Location pleasant opposite private park, very convenient to tube and shopping/ eating venues. Room had fridge, tea/ coffee making facilities
Room quite small, nowhere to sit Breakfast not included in room rate
Was in a good location, away from traffic and overlooking a small garden square. Lovely reception area - light and modern. Situated behind Whiteleys shopping centre and a walk away from Kensington Park. Just a walk through the park and past a lovely lake and Kensington Palace, we were able to walk to the Royal Albert Hall where we saw (ahem) Peter Andre. The next day were walked in the same direction and reached the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, V&A and Harrod. Hyde Park is also nearby. The room was quite small but ideal for one night only.
Not a lot to dislike really. Paid £109 for small twin room but that was ok for one night. Continental breakfast would have been £7 each but we passed on this and found an English breakfast for £8 in a patisserie opposite Harrods (which also included jams). Point to note: Harrods wouldn't let us in because we had suitcases. We could have put them in storage while we were in the store, but only if we spent £50 each per night - so we passed!
friendliness of the staff, clean and comfortable rooms, not a very large room but everything was perfectly adequate. Lovely setting by the park and easy access to central London
all was fine
Close to dining ,not too far to tube
Had to move rooms as basement rooms were too small
New,Clean and comfortable, value for money..
Wobbly and creaking bed, walls are thin
Very comfortable beds. Decent sized room for a London accommodation. Nice decor.
The breakfast room is depressing, but the food was okay. I wouldn't pay extra for a Garden View room again -- the non-garden side of the building was quieter.
Love the location. Close to Kensington ( palace, park), Knightsbridge , museum mile, Albert hall, Paddington and Marble Arch.. Great Grohe shower.
We were here for an overnight stay and it did feel a tad anonymous.
Pretty much everything about the hotel was great. Our top floor garden view room was spotless, there was plenty of hot water with good water pressure. The room was indeed small, but the window opened wide so we could get plenty of fresh air. The AC also worked well with the window closed, if you prefer that. It was a very short walk to Kensington Park, Princess Diana's Memorial Fountain (which surprisingly briefly moved me to tears), Kensington Palace, and more decent restaurants than you could exhaust in 2 weeks worth of dinners. The staff was great. The lobby was inviting and bright. It has a lift! I thought the price was very reasonable for being so clean and pleasant in such a nice area. it felt very safe. And most importantly, for me, there was absolutely no smell of mold or mildew!
Mattress wasn't firm enough for us. If you prefer a medium or soft mattress you'll be fine. If you really need a firm mattress, keep looking.
The room was nice and clean (but I don't like the British tradition with carpets). Lovely view across the garden. Quiet location for London. Short walk to Queensway tube. Great with safety box, kettle and fridge. The wi-fi was pretty ok for reading news, surfing around and checking social media. The staff was lovely and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely return.
The wi-fi blocked Facebook the last two days of our visit. We found out that the blocking was only intended for staff but included the whole hotel. The wi-fi was not strong enough for streaming film or watching news clips. I was annoyed by smokers just outside the entrance - smoke came into the lobby. The bed was quite hard for a small person of 50 kg but the large quilt was great for two persons. There was an extra surcharge on the room that I was not prepared for (although they said I should have seen it on the confirmation).
Lovely staff. Rooms not too bad. Very near to whitely's and other places.
Excellent location, very comfortable and clean, we were very impressed with the high standard throughout
Tho hotel was great.
My only complaint was that I thought the cleaning staff were a bit noisy, although they were very pleasant.
Great location, very clean
