All was good. Plan to visit it one more time.
The room had everything Bath room was well equipped and nice to use. Wi-fi was fast and reliable (able to watch streaming TV and work etc.)
Room was small (but that's nit picking) 10am checkout is a little early for me :-/
Central, circle & district lines close (2-5min on foot). Clean, quiet rooms.
Wifi is practically useless (poor bandwidth, disconnects all the time). No chairs in the room (staff helpful though: when asked for, a collapsible chair was provided).
Everything was good.
Free WiFi Clean Good location - close to bayswater
Very small room Small bed- when booking a single room
Staff very friendly, convenient location - near 2 metro stations (central line & district/circle lines). Kensington Garden - 10 min walking Nice Europe breakfast Clean & calm hotel
Location Cleanliness Simplicity

the basement room was little noisy at night. that is because it is located under the reception
Friendly staff Quiet rooms Fairly comfortable sleep
Distance from attractions
The London House Hotel is close to two Metro stations (Bayswater and Queens Way). This was great for getting around the city.
The closest area for going out is Queensway Road (B411) and it is a terribly touristy street, and always hectic. If you’re hoping for “local flavor”, this is not the area. There are not many quaint restaurants or bars really close by, but we were able to find a few. Our room was very small (we were in Rm 202), but we knew that going in. The room was neat and tidy. It included a kettle with coffee & tea. Also it had a safe and a hair dryer. The rooms have no air conditioning, so in order to get air in the room (and you need it), you have to leave the window open (no screens), and even though this hotel faces a park, the street noise is VERY loud... the vehicles, motorcycles, delivery trucks, foot traffic (drunks), etc. made it impossible to sleep. Also, the walls are paper-thin, we could clearly hear a man snoring in the next room. So our first two nights were sleepless nights. We finally downloaded some ambient noise on my phone and played that thru the night. It helped a lot. The wi-fi connection was not consistent, which was a big inconvenience for us. We wound up paying extra on our personal cell phone plan because of this. The maid service was not the best. They only made the bed, they did not change the sheets, and our sheets obviously were in need of a change. We did not tell the hotel staff of this because when we discovered the dirty sheets, it was late at night and we just wanted to sleep.
The location can't get any better; walking distance away from 2 tube lines, near food and supermarkets. Yet nicely tucked away from hustle and bustle so you still get a good night's sleep.
Walls are thin so noisy neighbours can be a problem.
It was close to Kensington garden an was in a nice area
For the price the room was very small! The room itself very clean but not to a very high standard.. The shower was really small an wasn't as clean as I would of thought I would be I.E. hairs an shower scum on parts of the wall. The staff were all European an not very welcoming or friendly
Everything, room was badly laid out with two end to end single beds. A shared bathroom! For £100 a night. Arguing staff.
No plug near the kettle Noise from opening and closing doors during the night
Helpful staff, pleasant room, a top sheet-- the only one we saw in our 18- day trip! (If you don't know about the dreaded duvet that most hotels seem to have, you will swelter in the early autumn, unless you have a top sheet, so that you can throw off the duvet!!).
Can't think of a thing!
ease to shops and food down queensway but tucked in enough to be in a very quiet and peaceful surrounding.
There wasn't a strong wifi signal in our room.
Location Friendly staff
Room too small
Great location,in lovely quiet neighbourhood, close to 2 underground lines. Loads of very nice restaurant in the area and walking distance to Nothing Hill and Kensington Park. Very clean, very friendly staff. It will definitely be my first choice for my next trips to London.
A of noise from the corridor, but not a bit issue.
Very convenient to 2 different tube lines. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Safe neighborhood to walk at night. Comfy bed. Loved having a little frig. Kettle in the room. Good Wifi.
Had to pay for breakfast. Cab called by hotel was *really* expensive. Do they get a cut?
Locatıon, pricing and room
Location pleasant opposite private park, very convenient to tube and shopping/ eating venues. Room had fridge, tea/ coffee making facilities
Room quite small, nowhere to sit Breakfast not included in room rate
Was in a good location, away from traffic and overlooking a small garden square. Lovely reception area - light and modern. Situated behind Whiteleys shopping centre and a walk away from Kensington Park. Just a walk through the park and past a lovely lake and Kensington Palace, we were able to walk to the Royal Albert Hall where we saw (ahem) Peter Andre. The next day were walked in the same direction and reached the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, V&A and Harrod. Hyde Park is also nearby. The room was quite small but ideal for one night only.
Not a lot to dislike really. Paid £109 for small twin room but that was ok for one night. Continental breakfast would have been £7 each but we passed on this and found an English breakfast for £8 in a patisserie opposite Harrods (which also included jams). Point to note: Harrods wouldn't let us in because we had suitcases. We could have put them in storage while we were in the store, but only if we spent £50 each per night - so we passed!
