London Lodge Hotel  

It has a nice cosy feel to it, the staff are very friendly and the location is very good - far enough away from noise and a 10 minute walk to Kensington High Street.

The rooms could do with being refurbished and brightened up a bit, I felt the room was a bit dark. It would be nice to have a choice of a cooked breakfast without paying more, you get continental as part of the price but you have to pay extra for eggs etc.

A good location - handy for the underground (Earls Court & Kensington). In a busy area which has lots of restaurants but the hotel is located on a quiet side road. There were no big queues to check in or check out and i was dealt with quickly. The room was clean and comfortable and tea making facilities were provided when i asked for them. The staff i had dealings with were friendly and efficient. Nice to have a decent TV with plenty of channels and radio Did not have breakfast so cannot comment about this.

My room had no view whatsoever (room 2) and the window looked out at some sort of vent with airconditioning units. The bonus of this was there was no traffic noise though. The room looks about ready for a bit of an overhaul of decorating - slightly faded and peeling in places. If you are in room 2 be aware that the bath taps are the wrong way around - the one marked H is cold and C is hot. A good shower though when i had fathomed this out.

Great location only blocks from underground, restaurants, and bank. Safe, residential street.

Decor is a little tired. Pay wifi.

The room with en-suite was spacious, pleasant and clean, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be staying there again.

The staff were excellent and very friendly indeed. The hotel 10 years ago would have been classed as rather plush and perhaps in need of an update, however, generally I felt it was brilliant for the price and I am looking to book again with my husband. The location for myself and friend for a concert in Hyde park was fantastic and the area is select. It was refreshing to be able to buy a few extra's with the continental breakfast like 2 boiled eggs for £2 as a full english breakfast is not always what a lady wants. beats a large chain hotel any day!! Go on book it you will not be disappointed!

Nothing it was completely fair for the price and I would stay again! The only thing wrong is that I do not want to recommend it was I will never be able to book it again!

Lite, intimt hotell med enkel, men koselig innredning. Sentral, men tilbaketrukken og rolig beliggenhet i flott område.Hyggelig betjening og nært nok til det meste. Continental frokost er dog i enkleste laget for godt vante nordmenn Alt i alt et hyggelig opphold Kari og Ottar

Die Lage ist optimal: Hübsche Location in Kensington. Earls Court erreicht man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß, von dort aus gehen Piccadilly und District Line zu fast allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Shopping-Adressen der Stadt. Wir hatten 2 Einzelzimmer gebucht, die waren nicht groß oder luxuriös, aber sie genügten für ein paar Tage (Bett, Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Hängeregal, tv). Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnisse für Londoner Verhältnisse. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück (Kaffee/Tee, Toast, kleines Croissant, Butter Marmelade, Saft, Cerialien, Joghurt) war ausreichend. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

Lage und klass. Stil. Gutes Frühstückszimmer, ordentlicher, freundlicher Service.

Il personale è molto cortese ed efficiente. L'hotel non è un granchè, ma la posizione è ottima (vicinanza alla metro, bel quartiere).

La camera che ci hanno dato per la prima notte era veramente improponibile, al piano -1 e vicina alla cucina, con un bagno ai limiti della decenza (come spazio)... Tuttavia il personale è stato molto sollecito e cortese nel cambiarci la sistemazione a partire dalla seconda notte. La colazione è abbastanza scarsa rispetto agli altri hotel di Londra in cui ho soggiornato precedentemente.

Bonne situtation géographique de l'hôtel à Kensington à 15-20mn du centre de Londres avec les transports en commun. Le personnel est serviable et parle français. Petit déjeuner classique.

Notre chambre se situait au rdc et nous n'avions aucune vue sur l'extérieur car la fenêtre donnait sur un mur. Manque de luminosité donc et la chambre trop petite (16m2). Mauvaise insonnorisation puisque l'on pouvait entendre le bruit de la cuisine située en dessous de notre chambre. Sûrement la chambre la moins agréable de l'hôtel. pas de chance pour nous. Pas de chaine française sur la TV et services à prix exubérants. Suppléments honnéreux au petit déjeuner si vous prennez des oeufs cuisinés.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. De (1-persoons)kamer was nogal klein, maar wel zeer proper. Het hotel was bovendien verrassend rustig gelegen in een toch wel drukke stad, wat voor een ongestoorde nachtrust zorgt. Met 2 metrostations in de buurt, kan je bovendien alle kanten op. De inrichting van het hotel is redelijk ouderwets, maar charmant, en de enige faciliteit is een klein restaurantje met zo ongeveer 5 keuzes qua maaltijd, maar er zijn genoeg eetgelegenheden in de buurt om dat een demper op de lol te laten zijn.
